Many were afraid of 60€, and it's not the case. Would you sell a full on enpansion for less than that ?

I can buy both Natural selection 2 AND Primal carnage for the same cost, two new and fairly well received multiplayer games. That people actually think that $40 is a fair price just shows how much people just buy off the name of the company rather than the game itself. TL has around 10 k registered users. Have you seen the sales figures for sc2:wol? They run in the millions. Like it or not but TL is rather insignificant as far as playerbase goes.

Each region probably have an average of 500k people playing at all time. Sometimes less.

They have to ship their products across the ocean, pay import taxes probably, and maybe their storage and distribution deals are not as favorable over there. Who knows. If they knew they could squeeze an extra $10 out of European customers, then why not also squeeze that out of the American customers as well? Does anyone think this through? Yeah, about $10. The Mothership Core, $10. The Tempest, $10. The Oracle, $10. The Swarm Host, $10. The Viper, $10. The Widow Mine, $10. The Hellbat, $10. All that adds up to $40. The campaign, with its 20 missions and 2 different specializations for every zerg unit, is completely free. As is clan support, global play, resume from replay, UI improvements and ladder-free matchmaking. Oh and also the ultralisk burrow charge, reaper heal, hydra speed, as well as the the coming redesigns of void ray, carrier and raven. Totally free and we all know it.

There should be an uproar if that is correct, since Valve had to check their prices, when they tried to do same in Steam. It's business as usual i'm afraid, europe and UK especially always gets the shit end of the bargain when it comes to game prices.

I can see how some other people don't mind it depending on what they're actually doing with HotS, but personally, I'm just disappointed at the state of HotS and therefore can't justify spending more than $20 on it.
