I'm sure they know about it, because hots isn't the first "beta key" preorder. Either they can't (technically) or they make profit, in one way or another. My guess would be new registered users, to make profit of them in the long run. Who would cancel a preorder? People who don't earn money currently but at some point in the future, they probably will, and the hardest step (registration) is already done. :o | ||

Makes sense, but in the end apparently you need a same region HotS as WoL  + Show Spoiler [Earlier post] + Well, my Wings of Liberty region is now changed to 'Global' on Battle.net (was EU before). So I wouldn't be surprised if there is actually only 1 HotS version, namely a Global one. Blizzard should provide some clarity here, but now that WoL region has changed to Global I would think I can order HotS wherever I want and just add it to my account and it should work. You do need WoL on the same account, it seems: Will Heart of the Swarm require ownership of Wings of Liberty? For the regions that have a standard box business model such as North America and Europe, yes, Wings of Liberty will be required in order to play Heart of the Swarm. Also, maybe someone can tell me is it better to buy from amazon uk or from game co uk if i want to get a game on march 12? I am not from UK, but my friend will help to get hots cheaper then in my country. | ||

Amazon generally get orders out to you for the day before/on the day of release from previous experience where as game will try to get it delivered on the day but could be the day after (also from previous experience). | ||
