Remember you can pre-order your copy through the TL store and help support Team Liquid! It's also an easy way to get a beta key! |

Edit: Also I'm pretty sure almost two years ago when Blizzard announced Heart of the the Swarm and Legacy of the Void they said that they are 2 expansion packs and will be priced accordingly to expansion packs. So Blizzard's been saying the same thing for 2 years, but now it's announced and half the people on here are all "OMG $40 WTF" no, PC games weren't 60 bucks, COD fucked everything up and put MW 2 at 60 dollars and everyone followed suit. Expansions used to be 30 dollars.

Is amazon still giving out beta keys? I noticed that they advertised that on the page before but no longer do.

I think a lot of people have, I did and it works fine. If they revoke your beta profile then sure, but you can't be punished for canceling an order surely.

The best is when you go a normal composition as Terran and splash in Widow Mines Midgame. Totally catches the opponent offguard. Especially when you are retreatingand and they chase you. BAM BAM. LOL.
EDIT: Widow Mines I've noticed are really good for Timing Attacks. For example you can attack with a small force of Marine Tank vs. Zerg and add WM to cover your rear will you retreat. They also really help reinforce small groups of Tanks.
WM aren't really good in maxed out situations. I feel that Mech TvP will be Hyper-Aggresive Mech contains with WM support. Containing Protoss and harassing their economy. Thus allowing you to acquire a stronger economy. The only issues I've experienced with Mech is that in 200/200 situations you either have to much Air or to much ground. I really hope that they make Ground Vikings better so that when Protoss switches out of Collosi your not stuck with a pile of crap.

Pc games use to be like 25-40$ affair, expansions were cheap additionals. The games have gotten more expensive, probably due to inflation and piracy. Not to mention the [needless] graphical arms race.

Nah. The issue is inflation (value of dollar decreases, back in the 1990s I remember cheeseburgers for 39 cents and hamburgers for 29 cents at Mcdonalds, and regularly I remember seeing $1 Big Macs), the cost of game development increases (back in the day, games only required maybe 1 year of development but now 3-5 years for AAA games), and competition with free to play games (thus if you have a large number of customers, despite the F2P game, better get the most you can out of them).

ATTENTION!
I just want to report in and say that I pre-ordered the beta from Amazon US, and received a beta key 2 days later in the mail (last night at approximately 12AM PST). So for those of you who are wondering if you can still get a beta key through Amazon, my advice would be to go ahead and give the pre-order a try, because it worked for me.
I did not have to act through customer service or anything like that. The key was just sent to junkmail last night.
