Terran was always fun, what's important is not caring about losing two third of your games. *wink* And I think that HotS unit design is not that bad at all. People confuse unit design with number balancing. Infestor broodlords seem like bad design, but in fact, the easy access to that composition was only allowed by changing the queen range. Number balancing, not design. Hellbat is good design (trading mobility of the hellion for tankiness, why not?), mines are good design (low cost space controlling AoE tool, why not?), vipers, swarmhosts, MSC and tempest are nice and fill some holes in their race's WoL play. I'm not too convinced about the oracle yet though. I think warpgates as the protoss macro default was a discutable choice, colossus could be a bit more micro intensive but overall, WoL had not that bad of a design either when you think about it. Give it time and have faith. | ||

Or maybe it isn't fun when you are forced to finish the game early and rely entirely on MMM timing attacks if you want to not get absolutely thrashed. This worked early on when people actually didn't know how to defend against terran, now it doesn't. People really love to throw around the phrase "terran has the most options" when all we can do is 1 base cheese or MMM timing attacks | ||
