Edit: Also I'm pretty sure almost two years ago when Blizzard announced Heart of the the Swarm and Legacy of the Void they said that they are 2 expansion packs and will be priced accordingly to expansion packs. So Blizzard's been saying the same thing for 2 years, but now it's announced and half the people on here are all "OMG $40 WTF" | ||

Doesn't change the fact that the reason you pay 40 dollars is also for the engine, online compatibility, etc. The units are a very small edition and so is the campaign in that respect. It's an expansion, blizzard has never charged full price for an expansion until activision merge. Regardless I'm sure full release price will be cheaper and i believe i paid 60 for WoL though 40 shoulda been the price of the game not the expansion in my opinion. Unfortunately the market doesn't work the same as it used to, and i still spent about 200 on BW cause of losing cd's and keys so can't complain with digital downloads haha. | ||

If the campaign was a small addition then the WoL campaign must have been irrelevent. Games arent 40$ anymore or even 50 because they cost a lot more to make then they use to so prices went up. | ||
