Off the top of my head, iG means like 10 different at least semi-competitive teams. I would only have enforced clan name's uniqueness, that is overdoing it. There are less that half a million possible clan tags, and if we assume that clan tags are somewhat tied to the clan's own name, statistically speaking there are way less non-non-sense clan tags, if you get what I mean. | ||

I remember DoA said on the SotG that he notices he gets less lag when match making. I really like the idea of just everyone playing together on the same server (though not sure if there is a server stress issue or anything) with shared ladder and everything. Well, Dota does it in a way (you can play with anyone), you can select which region you want to play with or not. They could make it so instead of having to create multiple accounts and only be logged into one battle.net at a time, you just login and you can pick any region to play games. If you picked NA region, you'll play on the NA server (though it may not stop Korean or European players from playing on the NA server). (In Dota 2, it works basically like that.) Since it's a 1v1 game, it wouldn't matter (in Dota, people dislike having to play with others from other regions due to the team nature of it), and if it doesn't affect lag (for the person playing on their home server), that's also good. I think it'd be neat if they'd let you play against other players from other regions more freely (and maybe have a unified ladder, and maybe a regional GM ladder and worldwide ladder). They could have regional ladder (which is based on not location but simply which region you picked to play in) and a worldwide ladder too. Of course this mostly just about more the social aspect and less of work having to play in multiple regions. It'd be neat to be able to chat with and play games with everyone from any region without having to log off, then select a region, then log on to another region. I agree. They should definitely not be unique. Clans and clan names should have battle tags too. Of course you can get people smurfing as another clan member potentially but people do that all the time already and most people it. Plus in Steam and Dota, no one is being stopped to just name change themselves to anything they want (names can be changed whenever and you can change it to someone else's name too). When I press F10 to bring up the menu my games lags like crazy for several seconds before bringing the menu up. By lag I mean the game screen freezes for 5+ seconds while it tries to figure out what the F10 menu looks like. It's really irritating me. Anyone know about this? | ||

So far I haven't had the issue since I made sure other programs were closed etc. When you play open up your task manager, How much usage % are you using? I'd look at that. | ||

I've been experimenting and it sees to happen in only the first few games and then seems to fix itself until I close HotS again. I did what you suggested and my CPU is sitting at it's normal idle while playing (I play on all low settings with an i7 2600k) and hangs around 2 - 9% or so. It just seems odd to me that it never happened with WoL and only in HotS. I will add it only started happening around Balance update #13, which seems kinda odd as well. No idea really. | ||

As you know your league is independent of your hidden MMR. If you were placed in gold but think you've improved to the point where you should be diamond and all the opponents you play against are diamond you can choose to leave your league so that after 1 placement match it places you in a new league based on your current MMR. This can be less frustrating than waiting for the system to decide to reevaluate you itself. | ||
