Is there a thread on that Raleigh newspaper story? Didn't come up on search.

Glad bbc is throwing in some support. BBC has seemed to me to mean Better (British) Communications more and more. Too bad it's really just British, but that's a sign of good stuff anyway.
As a matter of fact, if I ever bought tv I'd be content with top gear- therefore bbc.
The way they did that was fantastic - no opinion piece whatsoever, they just let people from the scene talk about the scene.
Also, they showed the casting desk from an angle I've never seen before. How amazing is the BBC. I've watched 5 MLGs or more and I never know how the casting desk looked.
I am just going to point out that as a solo game, SC2 is more comparable to Tennis or Golf. LoL, DotA are a fair comparison with football or ice hockey though.
Edit: BBC doing a great job documenting as is their usual.
Hmm, one thing I've noticed for a long time now is that the many sc2 fans/players who just came with sc2 actually thinks sc2 is popular and the players is famous and that they are like "rockstars" in Korea when this isn't the case at all. We all know that this is the case for some players in KeSPA because of years exposure on TV and because of the popularity of BW.
But can anyone explain to me how this "myth" carried over to Starcraft II and Korea?
BW was big in Korea in that most men played it at least once in their life It took over carum (당구) as a time sink for awhile but it never was a national sport like some foreigners believe.

This is why we can't have nice things.
Also, the media not painting gaming in a bad light!? Something doesn't smell right here...
That's pretty awesome, especially from a British site like the BBC who I wouldn't expect to do something like this. It's cool esports is getting more and more on the news.
