This should be interesting if true, I felt that this is too "soon" like so many others here. Yes they are top BW pros, but SC2 is still a different game. It's like people who are good at baseball doesn't mean they'll be just as good at softball.

Just sounds like an oportunity for a few BW Pros to show they are good at adapting to a different game, thats it.

BTW: BW Pros aren't necessarily talented, just faster. Look at Nestea, who never had the mechanics to play BW, but is a genious in SC2. Even in current SC2 world Nestea is considered a slower Zerg!

Maybe BW Pros will change the game by playing faster, but I highly doubt it. They will change the game due to their work ethic more than anything, which is not gonna happen for 6months to 1 year time.

lmao. BW is just as deep if not more deep than sc2. The fact that kespa players will be able to compete with pro's in half a year time (or one year) is the proof of it. You have to spent years of playing bw just to be considered terrible compared to the koreans.
You've got iccup ranking, then fish ranking, then korean amateurs, then the B team and then you've got the actual korean pro's amongst which HUGE differences exist.
10 years of playing the same game and new revolutionary strategies and tricks were still being discovered, seems a lot more deep than sc2.

The real fun is going to come in a couple months when they understand the game.. Its when they stop simply massing games to get a feel of how sc2 works and start tailoring their own strategies. Like when Slayers when for that blue flame strat that got nerfed. Or when Flash develops a new bw build from ground up that accounts for every possible weakness, yet remains optimal / can cut corners when needed based on what he scouts. These players are tactical geniuses. Their game sense / reaction times for RTS games are the best in the world. After they get adjusted in a couple months we can see whats really up.

This is FAR from a perfect science though lol... just gotta wait and see

It's not really important for Kespa players to win tournaments at this stage. They just need to experience and get comfortable with the changes made from BW to SC2. They're better off playing the GSL players and getting experience even if they barely have a chance to win at this stage. HotS represents a reset of all the timings and subtleties in the game anyway.

Guys its enough fighting about who is gonna win. Yes, the GSL players will win if they try their absolute hardest. No KeSPA player can beat MKP trying his absolute hardest in a TvP, same with Inori PvP, its just not happening he is one of the best in the world and no KeSPA player is going to beat Squirtle in a PvZ or PvT, but thats if they are trying their hardest. I'm going to easily bet that they will make things look easier/more close by screwing up a little bit if they see they are getting too far ahead. The fact is that the BW players are not using the current meta and are trying to remake it from the Proleague games I've seen, the only one who plays by the meta so far is Flash and that is the smartest move he can make. The fact is that Mr. EllenPage (MKP) playing against Bisu, since both played for the [shield] clan, would be cool, or if MVP (a former Woongjin player) played Leta or Flash it would be cool or even if FlounderToss (SK.MC) or ZergBong (Nestea) played their former betters it would be cool. The fact is that its kind of a for show thing, its not going to be a pull no punches go fuck them up kind of thing. If GSL sent in only Code B they might be able to kind of do that, but at this point I doubt that most KeSPA players could sustain in Code A for a long time.

There are a lot of comments that say my exact one, but I am elaborating on them. To the people that say don't underestimate the BW pros, we aren't we are just not over-estimating them. If we were to put all the players who are at this very moment quite honestly the best we have ever had on a team and put them against the KeSPA pros, they would lose, convincingly most likely also. Its not about training, its about experience, and the SC2 pros have that out the ass compared to the BW pros. The BW pros, especially those like Bisu, who stated earlier that, "If i had ff I would never lose," are starting to realize how difficult SC2 is in much different way than how difficult BW is. They have not been new at something for at least a decade, and SC2 is a whole new game. The point I'm trying to make is that we should not over-estimate the BW pros and that we should enjoy watching the show but to not have HUGE hopes for the BW pros.

For everyone saying HOTS will be a full reset allowing Kespa players to catch up: were only part way through this proleague season. If the beta comes out tomorrow (which it very well could ) we dunno if kespa will drop WOL and pick up HOTS beta. If they stick to WOL everyone else will pick up on HOTS and Kespa will still be a little behind. If they switch over to HOTS midseason...

Now I am not sure how you would know if HotS beta is coming out tomorow. If it does then yes it levels the playing field quite a bit I still feel that the advantage will still be to GSL.

Sounds awesome, I love the fact that players are annonymous until game 3, might be hard to keep it a secret but it will surely make it more exciting!

unless flash and bisu have gotten 100x better than they were at the MLG thing, Symbol and DRG would just run them over.

Saying that Nestea didn't have the mechanics is bullshit. sAviOr had around 250 apm for god's sake. T______T

Really wanna see Mvp vs Flash. Mvp is slumping a bit and Flash has probably grown a lot. Hopefully a good (dream) match.

Thats the beauty of this game Being fast helps. But its not necessary. I remember reading an interview form Movie where he said his coach always thought he was just surfing the web instead of practicing cause he played so slow.. I think his apm avged around 180-240.. slower than sAviOr lol
