"MVP is slumping a bit"
He won the last GSL, got cheesed out of this one, and hasn't played a single other tournament in that time? How do you figure he's slumping?

Anything less than 1st is a slump for mvp

Maybe BW Pros will change the game by playing faster, but I highly doubt it. They will change the game due to their work ethic more than anything, which is not gonna happen for 6months to 1 year time. Flash, Savior, Stork, etc? flash is still 350 apm 250 eapm, a better example would be movie, iirc he's barely 240 apm
But he's not one of the fastest players out there, and he's the greatest player of all time. Plus he plays terran, where you really can't have an APM below 300.

great news! was waiting for this for 2 years! i don't really think the kespa players have a chance at this moment. they should however catch up in the nex couple months (especially after the release of hots).
|
i don't believe any of the kespa players is code a level at this point and flash vs mvp would be a joke tbh flash is a god don't get me wrong but let's be honest what would his gsl titles meen if he just would be rolled by a newcommer to sc2

I think Flash will love losing. Really, I do. Sometimes it's nice after being at the top for so long... to get beat back down. Then you get that awesome rush of climbing back up again (the best part of any sport really).

lmao. BW is just as deep if not more deep than sc2. The fact that kespa players will be able to compete with pro's in half a year time (or one year) is the proof of it. You have to spent years of playing bw just to be considered terrible compared to the koreans. You've got iccup ranking, then fish ranking, then korean amateurs, then the B team and then you've got the actual korean pro's amongst which HUGE differences exist. 10 years of playing the same game and new revolutionary strategies and tricks were still being discovered, seems a lot more deep than sc2.[/QUOTE]
Who the hell says they can compete? have you seen them play vs any sc2players i haven't that's for sure kespa was just protecting there name in some way but now atlast we will know how big that elephant actualy is

I've said this before, but try this:
All-kill format with two teams, all Kespa players versus MC, MVP, Nestea. Who wins?

more like he cheesed the last gsl, got cheesed out of this one. relative to his old form, this is a slump. he's winning games fine, but it's not the guy we all remember beating ogs.top in that epic game 1 of the finals.

Dude, people have been saying MVP is in a slump since before his last 3 gsl finals and last 2 final victories. GET REAL.

The sc2 pros are guys that couldnt hack it in BW. Of course the BW guys can compete with them t.t Maybe not now but soon forsure.

He really did not play in those games. I will say debuting a cool strat was awesome but he lost that game but his wins werent as awesome as his losses.

Maybe BW Pros will change the game by playing faster, but I highly doubt it. They will change the game due to their work ethic more than anything, which is not gonna happen for 6months to 1 year time. The real fun is going to come in a couple months when they understand the game.. Its when they stop simply massing games to get a feel of how sc2 works and start tailoring their own strategies. Like when Slayers when for that blue flame strat that got nerfed. Or when Flash develops a new bw build from ground up that accounts for every possible weakness, yet remains optimal / can cut corners when needed based on what he scouts. These players are tactical geniuses. Their game sense / reaction times for RTS games are the best in the world. After they get adjusted in a couple months we can see whats really up. This is FAR from a perfect science though lol... just gotta wait and see Saying that Nestea didn't have the mechanics is bullshit. sAviOr had around 250 apm for god's sake. T______T Thats the beauty of this game Being fast helps. But its not necessary. I remember reading an interview form Movie where he said his coach always thought he was just surfing the web instead of practicing cause he played so slow.. I think his apm avged around 180-240.. slower than sAviOr lol
like it matters if you have 150 or 1000 in sc2
it doesn't
