Also how does this make hellions useless? you can still deny creep tumors, you just need to be on your game and not just park on the creep. its not like queens 1 hit hellions, you can just fry a tumor then run off.

Blizzard think there is some sort of problem with early Terrans All in. Bunker rush, reaper, and hellions.
So they want to increase the range of the queen to completely shut down those early pressure/allin.

Well the bunker being unchanged is technically a change, a change of trends. So the bunker itself may be unchanged, but it's relation to patching has changed.
The universe created an audience for itself.

Don't know about the queen range change (Going to make scouting in PvZ hard, going to make early game PvZ hard in general), the rest seems good to me. Funny to see terrans complaining about being nerfed in every patch, then when not changed they still complain. The "Bunker is not changed" comment was brilliant .

I had to look at the last TvZ percentages. So 50.1 - 49.9 requires a patch to buff zerg, but 70% PvT winrate on cloud kingdom "makes the game more interesting."

I give up.

It's worked that way for years in BW, and it's been fine. Hell, P's often hide their tech against T in BW to punish greed.

If we take Blizzard's own words in consideration, they essentially envisioned this game for Terran to be slightly stronger in the early to mid-game in order to make up for its late game deficiencies (paraphrased roughly). In other words, Terran has to do damage in the early game and mid-game. It's that asymmetrical balance that Blizz seems so intent on working towards.

Thus, early game cheese is pretty much designed to work within the framework of Terran in SC2. Not to mention, cheese is an essential part of long series in tournaments to keep one's opponents honest.

There is a lot of overreaction in this thread though. I don't think this will really affect the top pro T's with good micro, timings, and map awareness.

How can you deny creep tumors if you can't attack them? Zerg only needs to make an early 3rd queen and they use their queen to attack hellions. Roaches are now useless against early hellions...

Thanks for the bunker not changed note op gave me a good laugh. The queen range increase surprised me and will make things very interesting.

That is cloud kingdom, you can just abuse the highground with the deathball and stop a 4th. not the matchup in general, at lower levels maybe, but the game shouldnt be balanced around low levels.

I completely agree with you. 70% winrate PvT on Cloud Kindgom is not a problem at all.

It's funny cause Terran needs no buff -.- They're incredibly strong early and mid game to the point where if they do what they need to do and should do then they can win late game pretty easy so terrans really need to stop crying for buffs when all they need to do is play their race correctly rather then greedy and passive.

Queen and observer change are probably the worst changes I've seen in SC2.

Even change for blue flame upgrade icon from red to blue was better.
