Probably not, because your opponent doesn't lose any points if he already has 0, and without that value you can't determine your own MMR. No. How much he lost have nothing to do with how much you win. This to values are total independent from each other.
If he have After the game 0 points, i can not tell how much he would have lost and there is no information in the system about it.

the new versions should not skip the game if he can not collect data and the graph should not be messed up because of this.

i have everything installed replays saved etc. allowing it to run through my firewall and it says sc2 mmr stats. not enough data. what did i do wrong? no charts are showing. it shows my name in the top left though. but says games 0

Keep playing, it needs to have a game it can use before it starts to show MMR.

can someone help me i dont understand how you install this program .... T_T when you have extracted your files , then there is nothing in the folder that you can actually press on ... there are some things but they just link you to some homepage... ?

Just put the extracted folder into sc2gears's plugins folder. Then when you start sc2gears, go to the plugins menu, and the MMR Calculator will appear there.

Only 1v1 ladder matches that you play with sc2gears running open in the background with the MMR plugin installed will (and can) be used.

Does it matter if I use it on an account that sc2gears isn't saving replays off? My sc2gears only saves replays off my main account so when I play on my smurf I just set the MMR tools to that account and hope that is enough but I haven't gotten a game recorded yet, so I wondered if it's supposed to work that way.

It starts as soon as you have your first game that the programme can use. It can't load MMR from replays.

I have a question, sorry if it has already been answered.

When looking at my MMR graph, it shows the diamond line at roughly ~1520. Does that meant hat everyone below that is diamond? Or is Diamond ~1520 - ~2000

It means diamond is between that and the next line above it. In this case masters

How does the game decide how much your mmr increases by when you defeat someone. I would have assumed that if your opponents mmr is significantly higher than yours than your mmr increases by a bigger amount but according to the graphs I'm getting this doesn't seem to be the case..

i did read its a estimate of your mmr however i feel that my mmr is no where close to the platinum line but i have only play like 8 games this season so that might be why.

Generally, the higher rated the opponent the more your MMR will increase for beating him, and the less it will decrease after losing to him. The rare exceptions occur when you or your opponent have played very few games in your careers. If your opponent has played very few games, your MMR won't change very much. If you only played very few games (in your career, not just the season), your MMR will shift wildly after every win and loss.

The graph does show just that in all cases except for the very last game that you've played, for which it will have the data as soon as you will have played one more game.

The cases where the graph appears to show otherwise are not because that's not the case, they are because the data that we have gives us MMR range for both you and your opponent, and we draw a dot in the middle of the range. But on occasions your MMR may be near the bottom or the top of the range. If before a game your MMR falls at the top of the range and after a win your MMR falls at the bottom of the range, it may appear on the graph as though your MMR dropped after a win. But in actuality it's a minor problem caused by the range. It would get very confusing if we drew ranges of MMR every game, so we draw a dot instead. On average it should (and does) behave well in most cases, so it is good enough for the purposes of tracking your MMR.

Hopefully this isn't a stupid question that has an obvious answer (need to play more). I have been over masters MMR for about 15 to 20 games now as high as 2050 with a moving average of at 2015 right now. Just wondering if you have any information on how long you typically need to be above this in order to get a promotion.

I can't help but laugh cause I'm sure the answer is just keep playing you will get promoted if you deserve it. Thank for any comments and hopefully I didn't cause face palm.
