Have you played against Parting's style where he makes like 4 observers? Gimping his vision of a small part of the map isn't going to help. All of this is just gonna enable Protoss to play even more greedy.

The only changes are overlord speed, queen starting energy, and observer build time. There are no changes to the map layout or spawns of Antiga. On topic -- this seems like a really cool idea from Blizzard, testing changes in the live client using custom maps instead of the PTR (honestly, I was too lazy to ever download the PTR and play on it). I'd like to see some pros try it out, my initial reaction is that the buffs for Zerg are too strong. TvZ is very finely balanced at the moment (at least according to international pro stats in April), and I think this will push Zerg over the top. Seems like if Zerg can get super fast creep spread without a 3rd queen, and get much better scouting early on, Zerg will be almost too safe in the early game against Terran.

You can play it 1v1, but if you go to join a game/create a game and its public, you wont be able to do 1v1. You can play with other people from TL/from a chat channel, but not against random people.

The energy change is massive, I don't know if that will go through, air harassment PvZ is already pretty ineffective ever since the spore change, so every queen spawning with a free creep tumor seems like overkill. The overlord change I think is good, hopefully it doesn't have some crazy side-effects on close-air positions, there's a risk the combined changes will make zergs a bit too bullet proof but I think everyone would prefer other changes that make it easier to pressure rather than just making it difficult to scout. The observer change is nice, I'll take 10 second on scouting for a cloaked banshee any day of the week, though this continues to make hallucination more and more irrelevant.

Blizzard still not in touch. Like the zerg changes, seem cool. And I'm a T. I'm sorry when was the last time a toss player won GSL or made any noise in the GSTL? Not only that, but Toss has been a pretty big let-down in MLG lately too.

Are there really any zerg at the pro level that still fall to any early game all-in ? In which match up ? We want to make creep spread a little bit easier to counter hellions in ZvT. Same, I don't see why creep spread should counter hellion. It has been a long time since a hellion has killed a single drone in a pro game... And the goal of hellions is to deny a 3rd to quickly like in the ZvP matchup... What their goal, make Z able to drone like crazy until 80 drones then max at 11 minutes, and this without any threat ?

[edit] The early creep tumor might be ridiculous, but keep in mind they want to make it easier for zerg to defend early game. Right now its really tedious against hellions and/or Protoss pressure sometimes.

50 energy I just can't agree with. The creep spread will just be insane. The observer buff seems out of the blue (has anyone ever complained about the build time?). I don't think protoss needs better scouting, or really anything at all at this point in the game. I'm always bothered when they introduce buffs/nerfs completely unrelated to the things people talk about.
