Just saying u should play more, instead of "wasting ur time" here on the forum's. Starcraft 2 isn't even nearly fully explored, hence not even 30%. Dont tell me there is not a single timing, poke, macro, micro, oriented play u coud do better, to tilt te game into ur favor by a small margin.
Are u one of the proud member or the Sad Zealot Club?
Should I even bother to answer this? Ok, let's try. Can't you see that is hypocritical to call on what people are doing now when you just did the same thing in the past (it was actually way worse, but let's say it's was the same thing)?
And If I remember correctly, the Sad Zealot club started before the emergence of 1-1-1 and it was purely based on Protoss doing badly at GSL (having fewer players and winning less titles). The same people that are now saying that TvP is fine and Terran players should just get better were crying their hears out about how Terran was OP.

I must say I dont play many terrans at all in plat league on silver! Its rather strange considering I used to play endless TvT's :/ I do think terran is tough at the level I am at, but that is part of the fun, improving and getting over the hurdles along your way!

Am I the only one who thinks TvP is the funniest mu at the moment. Its hard, but for me its funny becouse of that. It reminds me of good bw days (where ZvP was hardest).

Hey there are some forum's talking about terran being Up. Well i just lost my last 5 games this must be thing there going on!
Please. Nobody has ever to played a 'Perfect' game, so there is room for improvement right?
why don't u just start doing that? If u care so much about losing more then winning?
And it's okay for Protoss and Zerg to whine and complain? And it's okay for Terran players to lose, they just need to improve. They are not allowed to win.

why don't u just start doing that? If u care so much about losing more then winning? There is no reason why we should care about our improvement, because as you said we have places where we can get better in the game. But it is the balance at the highest level of the game that only matters. There isn't that much pro players could really improve upon other than strategies, builds or some unknown timing attacks that could cause the ''metagame'' to switch in one races favor. How can you even expect that getting a better at game will even somehow fix terran late game at top levels where we all want to have a game that would be balanced across all the points in the match up, especially when big sums of money is at the stage?

On March 12 2012 04:22 babysimba wrote: I blame the mmr system for the amount of balance whines. People like to compare with other races of similar "skill level" and judge the differing amount of success they can have in various matchups. If you aren't good at certain matchup, then you aren't good at it. The fact that different matchups have different difficulty can't be changed. The game should be balanced at the very top level.
I will just re-emphasize a portion of my post. Why must we think that "hey i'm masters yet i lost to another masters who has half my apm just because they play another race." Why can't we think in this way instead "hey i'm a terran that manages to get into masters, i'm that awesome." Do ladder ranks/league really matter so much?

Interesting read. That said, I play T and i'm convinced I just suck at sc2 - although I do win around 80% of my TvT games Love it though and have played a little zerg and protoss - I still enjoy playing Terran more.

Yeah, classic, every goddamn Terran has a 30% vP winrate and a 80% vT winrate. Always a good one to hear.

Every Terran player is still stuck in a TvT mech game since early beta.

I used to play Zerg and switched to terran 3 months ago and I'm already back to high masters. Terran is a lot of fun and definitely harder to play than zerg, but it's easier to get better with it - if that makes any sense.

Terran harder to play than zerg? That's a good one.

I think too many people played terran because it was too good. When they got nerfed to be equal to Zs and Ps people got hurt and left.

This, I have played quite a lot of terran players in platinum than just know how to 2 rax or reactor hellion drop or 2 port shees vs zerg, and once the zerg stop the harass they just don't know how to play.
Of course there are still plenty of terrans who know how to play, and I enjoy a lot playing against them. TvZ is the best MU.

Micro and macro wise it is.

Don't know if we're both playing same zerg, but i recently switched from T and after ~100 games, i find macro to be much easier with the former, you just need the knowledge of when to drone.

And you're aware Zerg is the only race who is allowed to add supply cap without going back to their base?
