I come from WoW and my most important things were on mouse 4 and 5 (trinkets, O-SHIT-Buttons)... Sure this is a completely different game, but its much more convinient for me to use the mouse hotkeys even in SC2. If you always played RTS games, then i think itsp retty hard maybe to use these keys. When i was zerg my hotkeys on the mouse were Mouse 5 - Camera Position where the active creep tumors are Shift + Mouse 5 - Set Camera to current location so every time after spreding creep i hit shift ouse 5 and when i remembered to spread further just mouse 5 and you are exactly there. something like main hatch for inject-checks sounds also good if you have all your hatches on 1 hotkey (cant check inject timer anymore)

I do use the forward mouse button (button 4) as the control group for all hatches. It works perfectley when you are in the middle of fights where you have to change the rally points all the time.

Though if you were a paladin you could have had all your 1-3 lol..... Camera jumping to all of your bases is nice though. As toss find idle worker key kinds pointless if you shift que things. So I rebound f1 to a camera jump key

They pare better with FPS or MMO games etc. Exactly when playing SC 2 you only need a high DPI precise mouse that fits your hand.

Stalker/Sentry/Colossus and MMM are a much bigger..anyway, stop QQ'ing. On topic: mouse hotkeys seem to cause trouble for me in SC2. With Zerg you shouldn't need any. Just use the keyboard hotkeys and the backspace trick. You should be fine. ![]() lol.... Only a zerg player can think of putting an entire army on only 1 hot key. If you are protoss or Terran by nature. You won't do it, and you'll know exactly why. But all you need is left click right click and a working mouse.
