just another smart way of MLG spending their money

I wonder how many more PPV passes they'll have to sell to cover this, haha

Not sure how many tickets a year MLG bought, but for example the buisness where i work usually buys around 200 tickets from vienna to brussels a year. About 50 of those need to be moved 1-2 days around at last minute. As long as the airline has the room to move us they usually have no problem, we pay about 30$ administration fees for the booking change.
Obviously the situation isn't perfectly comparable, Vienna-brussels is 6 flights a day route and almost none of them are fully booked. MLG probably had to pay some kind of fee to get the new tickets, but it shouldn't be in the thousands of dollars range.

Since they already had return tickets, just changed when the return flight would be the fee is generally pretty small for switching.

Sometimes I wonder if GSL is purposedly making their schedule to mess up their players who travel to international tournaments... It's not the first time this kinda stuff happens and it's not like it would be difficult for them to take better care of their players by just scheduling accordingly.
In any case, good move by MLG! I'm sure you won some points with the koreans.

Good to see MLG working hard on solving this problem, even though new, last-minute plane tickets must have cost a fortune.

I don't understand how you can blame GSL for all of this. They had everyday of 2012 planned for what match was going to be shown that day. It's neither tournaments fault.

now this is what I want to see, MLG working on a situation properly and informing the public.

It's not like they're a large company.

Well that sucks. I hope being in such a rush won't adversely affect them too much.

great job mlg. Now, If you only would have made the ppv 10 less dollars and you would have gotten my money.

MLG is a good organization. Them doing this for MLG is especially kind when you consider how GOM handled the whole GSL seeding fiasco...

I guess this counters the fact that MLG scheduled their Winter Arena the same weekend as Assembly, affecting the viewer count of Assembly and also, probably, the players.

.... WTF? Assembly isn't on when MLG is on, and vice versa. How does that affect the viewers?

They are on at different times. And if anything its worse for MLG than assembly.
