If GOM would have been considerate in any way shape or form however they could have schedueled properly and not put MLG this much on the spot. 4 of the 12 matches involve players that have been in Korea all weekend. Why on earth are those four matches not on Tuesday? TLDR: Gom is being an elitist dick, players are lucky enough that MLG is willing to fix the problem.

It's more the player's faults than Gom's. 1) Because they assumed they would play later in the week and we all know what happens when one assumes. 2) They didn't talk to Gom about it beforehand and see if they could play later in the week.

No, absolutely not. This is a scheduling blunder that if it would have happened by others we would have reacted quite differently. (I think that if NASL would have done this we'd have burned them at the stake) GOM knew at least a week before they revealed this schedule that these players would be out of the country and would be physically be unable to play at the times they had them scheduled at. (Not to even talk about them being jetlagged, which I feel is the players' problem) At this time there would be nothing wrong with changing the scheduele as it isn't public yet. (As soon as it is public I can see that changing the schedule can hurt you) The question remains though why GOM is this bad at scheduling as it doesn't take a genius to discover that it is useful for your players to be in the country when you want them to play. Also considering that this isn't their first schedule screw up it creates the image that either GOM is very bad at schedueling (which for a organization that has that much money every month would be unacceptable) or that they just don't care. (Earlier case: I remember IdrA being very pissed oin State of the Game at GOM when they screwed up his scheduele back in Open GSL 2 or 3 which made him cancel his DreamHack appearance)

Gom should've been more accommodating to the player's schedule. They announce the exact schedule at the last moment (we know code a matches were this week but the actual player matches of when they play weren't known). Gom wants their players to play their matches obviously so wouldn't it be wise for gom to warn the players that they might not accommodate their schedule before the koreans left to the foreign tournaments. What if MLG couldn't alter the flights for the koreans. Will gom just allow a bunch of walk overs, in which there would be a lot of outrage b/c it could've been easily fixed if gom chose to rearrange the order of the matches. Gom has accommodated players schedule before due to foreign tournaments. They have casted from replays before (I'm not saying they should do this). They have altered players schedules before (like switching certain matches so a player can play on a different day). I remember them switching Huk's matches multiple times to fit his schedule. I'm not sue why they didn't do it this time.

The thing about this is that it is not even its fault. GJ MLG.
