Nice recovery, MLG. I'm glad that it worked out so that none of the players had to miss their matches. Props to you.

Good scrambling by MLG. Must had cost a fortune though. Last minute flights don't come cheap.

Its okey. Sundance bottled the tears of people angry at him and sold them as salt supplement, that put some money away in an emergency fund.

Sometimes I wonder if GSL is purposedly making their schedule to mess up their players who travel to international tournaments... It's not the first time this kinda stuff happens and it's not like it would be difficult for them to take better care of their players by just scheduling accordingly.

In any case, good move by MLG! I'm sure you won some points with the koreans.

I don't understand how you can blame GSL for all of this. They had everyday of 2012 planned for what match was going to be shown that day. It's neither tournaments fault.

No, GSL doesn't.

I'm guessing that the Koreans pros thought that they were going to play later on in the week. They didn't know the exact date they would be playing until today.

It definitely is not GSL's fault, nor is it MLG's fault. GSL has made it known that their Code A matches occur on the Monday and Tuesday night of each week. In a sense, one could argue it is MLG's fault for not knowing ahead of time when Leenock would be playing. Furthermore, it would be best if Code A were played out before the finals of GSL's Code S.

In all honesty, I am very pleased with what MLG chose to do. It does what THEY have claimed to be best at. They are showing us why they are a premier league, not just for their spectacular prize pools and competition, but also for making sure the players are really well taken care of.

tl;dr: MLG is awesome and neither league is to blame for this.
I play protoss because it's imbalanced. :D

Good job handling the issue MLG! You can say what you want but at least MLG helps to fix the situation that was not even their fault.

MLG just earned another $20 pass this weekend. Perfect handling of a situation where they didn't even need to handle.

Surprisingly there are some 400euros flight (I did not even search for a long time) between new york and selou for february 28th, 800 euros with Korean air. It's expensive but i thought it would be even worse than that.

I think it's pretty funny that MLG thinks they should be complaining. The "detailed" schedule wasn't posted until the results were confirmed, however, everybody knew that the Teusday in question was scheduled as Code A RO3 Day 1 Matches 1-4. The undetailed schedule has said this for ages. It seems as if the MLG organizers should have tried harder to not have any scheduling conflicts with GSL, and not the other way around. Weekdays are clearly a bad time until the season itself ends, and there's that break during Code A qualifiers for the next season.
