I have no idea whether or not players, teams and/or MLG reached out to GSL to help out with scheduling Code A, but as far as I can tell that information isn't out there yet, so I'm not sure why everyone is upset with that crucial piece of information missing.

I just re-earned the respect I lost as a gold membership user at MLG and will renew my pass, IF IT FUCKING GETS BETTER DESCRIPTION ON WHAT I ACTUALLY GET FOR MY MONEY, but off that rant, shit happened you fucked up about that, but you made amends in my mind by doing this... Class act.

Class act. Yea, I kind of feel swindled by the the gold pass debacle as well but the more I read the literature on the site...they have in clear and certain terms its for the pro circuit. That said, it is a little crappy that the foreign league still has to bow and bend to the korean league determinations. Maybe the roles will be reversed in 5 years. Who knows?

But, Nazgul... they don't have to keep track of everyone else. There's this little website called Teamliquid.net that can tell me who's playing in what tournament when - generally as soon as players start announcing or tournaments start announcing. /troll Still, it's a player issue somewhat - players enter the events, and should try to ensure they aren't "double booked". With Gom this might be a bit of a sticky issue, because GSL tournaments run over the span of several months while all of the other tournaments are "burst" activities - 3 days here, 4 days there, scattered over the course of the year. IE, I know that if I attend MLG, it will be for that entire weekend. Whereas if I'm in GSL (hah, never happen) I could be playing a few times a week for a couple of weeks, a couple of months, or I could burn right the heck out pretty quick and have plenty of free time for the rest of the season.

They weren't really double booked in this case though. This was a travel scheduling problem. It's one thing to expect Gom to keep track of other tournaments. It's quite another to expect them to know players' travel schedule.

Also considering code S is done, you can expect the code A to go on early in the week it's prity standard, i don't really see it as scummy or a way to undermine MLG, though i do admit they seem rather late with it.

When i did a flight change from Rome back to the US, it was 99 dollars. When i did a fairly last-minute domestic flight change, it was free. It obviously varies by carrier and whether it is domestic or international, but it isn't like they are buying them new 1000 dollar+ tickets.

MLG stepping it up! Edit- At above responses: You are allowed to move a flight to a later date but you cannot move it to an earlier date I believe. Therefore it is like buying new tickets. However if mlg cancels the reservations they should have the money back from those tickets to use for future flights.
