Those low-mid masters NA cheesy nooks would not reach diamond on KR. They'll live in PLatinum. Besides, you can be sure that these guys are doing nothing but pure macro play.

Flash and Jaedong make so much money from BW that it'd be silly of them to switch to SC2. If they keep the same salary, they can make much more money in sc2.

My guess is that the current 10-15 best SC2 pro's will be able to keep up with the BW legends. Everyone else will disappear off the face of the planet. One of the biggest advantages the BW pros have is their superior mechanics which is unmatched in SC2. However it is less of an advantage in SC2 although it will still give them an edge it is not going to destroy everyone subpar like it does in BW. When the transition happens they are probally gonna need a few months to adapt their mechanics which is probally why they start now already. It shouldnt take long though. Then SC2 players got another advantage which is the huge "knowledge database" of timings and details of the game. This is going to take awhile longer but will be completely negated when the game resets at the heart of the swarm release. As it seems they are getting a hang of the game now but still primarily playing BW still, they will hit the scene like a hurricane when HoTS hits if that is when the full transition happens.

As far as I figure kespa has no rights in SC2, they have to negotiate with Gretech and possibly Blizzard and we know how the BW part finished. They're the new guy to the table and they missed the start.

There is a good reason. Every time I watch SC2 games, I have this feeling that this is not the top level. I know that MVP, Nestea, HuK and maybe Stephano are just simply great. They know what they do, when you watch their games it is easily seen that they know what they want to do, they have wonderful skill to do what they want to do, and they don't do many mistakes. On the other hand I am still imagining myself how would Flash and Jaedong play SC2. There was the time I started to believe that maybe they wouldn't be able to play on a same level as in BW. After all it is a different game, easier one, you don't need that great mechanical skills. But then forGG arrived and after not so long he is really good. And he is still not the top BW player. So yes, I love BW, watching BW masters in play is a pleasure, but I just want to see them in SC2. Maybe I am naive but I believe that it will completely change SC2 scene. New strategies, whole new macro and micro, no place for mistakes, strict Build Orders up to 20 minutes and so on. Naive? Of course. But I want to see this ![]()

I would say their work ethic and flawless dedication will be their biggest advantage. They've a strong structure surrounding them unlike foreigners who practice whenever they want/can.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/lqulj/nada_to_the_other_code_s_players_you_should_be/ Nada to the other Code S players: "You should be proud of yourselves that you are the first generation of starcraft 2 pro gamers. Be proud you are the first. Always keep that fact in your head and act like a pro gamer." I bet Nada wanted to finish the sentence: "Think of that even after Flash, Bisu, Jaedong, and all other BW monsters, who are practicing right now, are roflstomping y'all just 6 months after practicing SC2 like you were bronze leaguers. You'll all be the first generation no matter how bad you play right now, even though you'll have to wait for them to arrive for you to realize that.
