As Zerg, reaching masters Korean this early is unbelievable. For Terran and Protoss, it was probably a bit easier. TvT: BW players should dominate this. TvZ making marine tank medivac will beat players through sheer macro TvP: mmm through sheer macro PvT: making stalker colossi PvZ: making stalkers PvP: just out micro them.

I disagree, In ZvZ outmicro with 500 sc2 apm in ZvT can use same BO as in BW (muta ling) In ZvP I'm guessing mutas - hydra,Corruptor or just sheer outmacro.

Why would so many people flame a game they like to watch..? I don’t see how there would be any confusion over practice schedules as I find it pretty unlikely that anyone would play both games at the same time? Maybe I misunderstood what you meant. It is however true that many of the “no voters” probably like to watch SC2 but want it to be separated from BW leagues.

I for one am happy that more good players are practicing SC2. I have no interest in BW so the more people who switch over the better. That poll was in Fomos I believe http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=279240#1

I think when the top BW players get a few months under their belts a new level of top play will emerge in SC2. It's something Artosis has brought up several times and been criticized for but I believe he is spot on.

But defending timings is much harder. It takes 50 2 rax's just to not fall behind against it. Hellions? Banshees? Random stim timing? Once it gets to mid game BW pros would win extremely easily.

Compared to BW, SC2 has hardly any micro and map control. ;/ And blizzard won't fix it. They want a simple game they can balance around flawed gameplay design. Micro would require LAN and LAN is something they don't want...

Or will it just be players who want to play SC2 because their BW results aren't up to par? The latter, probably. They'll just have support from their BW teams, unlike all the other ex-BW pros that switched. Flash and Jaedong make so much money from BW that it'd be silly of them to switch to SC2.
