ZERG: 9.5/10 - I really really like the Zerg changes just looking at them without seeing them play. The Viper sounds like an all around badass and the swarm dude may end up being the ultimate defensive unit. - Blings moving underground sounds OP to me. Would obviously have to be hive tech at the very least. Still sounds a little OP. - The new Corrupter ability is cute. Reminds me of Raiders in WC3. Protoss: 7.5/10 - I actually like the new capital ship. As long as they balance price and dmg with health, it should be an upgrade over the carrier (no interceptor cost) and a HUGE upgrade over the seldom used mothership. - I'm torn on the replicator. I don't hate it as much as some people in this thread. I think it COULD be very interesting and could allow for some extremely fun and unique strats. - I like the new oracle personally. Granted the role it plays is very limited, it seems to be very good at it. No it doesn't kill SCVs like a banshee or mutas, but if the energy costs aren't too high, a few of these can do major economic damage! Terran: 6/10 - A goliath remake? Seriously? Why not just call it the goliath then. Terran already dominated the skies. It's going to be even more severe now. - Only 1 thor? Unless they buffed thors, why not just remove them from the game then? Even if they did buff them not why remove them anyways? They are completely replaced by the goliath. - Shredder gives the terran a "defensive structure" that doesn't require marines I suppose. I have a feeling they might make this thing too OP though since it only works by itself. I got a feeling it will be able to kill near infinite zerglings alone, which is dumb. - Battle hellion? Our worst fears come true. Pointless transformation. It will almost certainly have to sac dmg. Even if it doesn't, there is no advantage in giving up mobility for a hellion since if the workers run away you need to chase them. Unless this is Transformers 2 and they can transform instantly and at will, then this upgrade is as pointless as any upgrade in the entire game since nobody builds hellions to go into a stand-up fight or to give up mobility. Stupid. Overall I love the Zerg, kinda like the protoss changes, and am really Meh about the terran ones. | ||
