Ok, so maybe i am dumb, but i dont get your post.
1. The Replicant allows you to use your enemy units in combination with your own. Changing to Terran limits your unit choice to pure terran, picking zerg allows you to control your enemy units for a very short amount of time. So "just changing my race" doesnt work.
2. You dont need to get in melee range.
But maybe its not me who is dumb.
according to askjoshy, they do have to get into melee range.
Replicants in the gameplay trailer were able to copy siege tanks up a ramp with a full wall of marines between them, though.
Could have been something they did just for the video. We'll have to wait for the actual dev panel at 3pm PST

Toss lost at least 2, though. Net gain of 1, same for Z.
You Do Realise Protoss initially had around 4-5 more unique units compared to Zergs number of Unique Units.
I just noticed in the Polls 90% of the Zerg were happy with their 2 new units. While the Protoss and Protoss were 50% satisfied and the Terran 35%-65% i think.
Just saying the polls show you guys aren't as satisifed as Zergs but you got more *new* units i'm not referring to Net Gain (since you already had way many more unique Units in WOL)

Protoss hasn't been doing colosus vs zerg for a while. Its 6 gate deny third into templar tech. Teh grappel takes 100 energy and the viper takes how much gas? Infestor +Energy upgrade + NP upgrade + Viper and waiting for energy. By that time you'll be able to hit a sick timing with storms and FF's. Shouldn't worry about it too much.

It's a little more powerful than disruption web. It appears to not only prevent any units under it from executing range attacks, but ALSO prevents CASTING.
So no storm. no stim. no fungal growth. if you are under that spell.

because... it is? Is the baneling a new unit? Yes.
It's not a new unit, you don't consider an unsieged tank and a sieged tank two separate units do you? Because with the hellion it's the same principle.

that we are getting new units is cool, it's really much appreciated. Honestly though, I'm not feeling the new units except the protoss. The flying defiler looks a bit retarded even, but what counts is how they look ingame so gonna wait on judging them.
