Yeah i agree, I don't mind Toss getting 3 new units so much. Not to mention they lost 2 units.
Though Terran with 3 new ones? Seems like a lot to me. Unless they remove some of the things that Terran has now.
Btw: Not saying anything about balance, simply that Terran has a lot of units.

this stealing other units seems far to hard to do in large enough numbers to make it worth while and even then the replicated units would be rigght next to the oppoenents units and therefore dead. That's really smart. Maybe replicants are meant to be able to give flexibility to the unit composition rather than just stealing enemy units. That's what warp ins are for...
sure making units is a great way to make the units. but have you tried warping in 4-5 stalkers agianst 4 banshees in a 1/1/1 push? It does not go well. And this would be far more on the fly and reactionary as they are not going to reveal their composition that early for you to tailor make yours.

Ok, so maybe i am dumb, but i dont get your post. 1. The Replicant allows you to use your enemy units in combination with your own. Changing to Terran limits your unit choice to pure terran, picking zerg allows you to control your enemy units for a very short amount of time. So "just changing my race" doesnt work. 2. You dont need to get in melee range. But maybe its not me who is dumb. according to askjoshy, they do have to get into melee range. Replicants in the gameplay trailer were able to copy siege tanks up a ramp with a full wall of marines between them, though.
