Replicant: If I wanted to use zerg or terran units, I would play zerg or terran. 1. The Replicant allows you to use your enemy units in combination with your own. Changing to Terran limits your unit choice to pure terran, picking zerg allows you to control your enemy units for a very short amount of time. So "just changing my race" doesnt work.

Sure, give all terran units shield like toss have and i'm fine with you having a banshee/hellion.
Your units have plenty of hp and you have medivacs/repair. Seriously, what you have is better than shields, and you can't get EMP'd and take stupid amounts of damage due to having no shields. Not to mention you don't need a separate upgrade for half your hp. Shields are a weakness, not a strength.
Wow... I'm actually impressed. I was 100% certain the units were going to be terrible remakes, but they actually have a few really cool sounding ideas. The transforming hellion is the only one I really dislike, but I REALLY like the Toss units.

according to askjoshy, they do have to get into melee range.
