As someone pointed out earlier, it's most definitely a Hydralisk evolve as the head is clearly a Hydras. My quick Photoshop skills proves that!

I'd say it's a replacement for the Hydralisk (air attacker, but faster and with more hp).

I think it could easily be a spellcaster unit ... the "launcher" on top of it could be for slinging spells.

Plus Zerg have effectively one less caster unit than T and P.

I really don't think they'd let the BL morph out of the mutalisk. Imagine out easy it would be to mass BL's once you already have ~30 mutas...

Zerg should not have a siege unit. Why should all races have a ground siege unit? Zerg have broodlords, they shouldn't have another siege unit. It better not have more than 6-7 range.
