However the real question is, how is it gunna add to what the terran forces already have? If it is what it looks like, w/ legs, then it'll move at the same speed of marine/maruaders. Will it get stim? probably not, its considered mech, then it'll move slower than marine/maruaders. It'll move slower than the regular hellion. Will it get more health? No, the viking transforms, it doesn't get more health, nor any other bonuses. Just a different attack pattern. Does this hellion-transformer have a different type of attack? It doesn't seem like it from the sillouette, it still makes it look like the flame is still its main source of dmg. Some speculated that it could be made by barracks. It doesn't really add to the metagame, since terrans usually get their factory tech extremely quickly. Then how does this add to the terran forces? It doesn't. It probably won't be a hellion transformer thing, everyone keeps saying it is. And if it is, it better have some sick ass abilities, otherwise I'm gunna forever hate blizzard. Transforms into talker, becomes armored instead of light, gets a slight bonus to armor? Still has flame thrower, maybe shoots slightly faster. Walks slow. Makes awesome noise while transforming. Really a switch from light - armored would be huge in a mech v mech war. I could be for it, if it requires research.

Banelings? They are like the coolest unit ever.

Why is everyone so buttfucking obsessed with REMOVING units? I feel like every unit has an inherant potential and that blizzard is so busy trying to make the races balanced, that they are ignoring the inequalities between the UNITS THEMSELVES!!! ;*(

highlighted the part that is important to keep in mind as they release info on new units. So i'd avoid discussing units in terms of 'more options' or 'balance' until we really get a full idea of what HoTS multiplayer will look like.

Its not like i'm praying to have the colosus removed (our OP unit) As a random guess answer. Jinro prefers to go mech, but that's not viable TvP because of the effectiveness of marine/marauder.

Banelings are the OPPOSITE of cool. they are THE 1a unit! not marines or colossi or anything else. no, banelings. That's why they suck and are boring as hell.
