Yeah. Terran holds very little interest for me: I hope they give the Reaper some Spider mines/equivalent, I hope they remove the Hellion and Marauder and give Terran some nice mech units, I hope they make the Seige Tank viable in TvP and nerf Marines without ruining other matchups and I hope they make the Raven viable again. Other than that... not much I desperately want.

It does look kind of like a more bulky medic - I really hope it isn't, though.

Would a defused baneling be like a dried out green corpse? Or like they pour really basic solutions into the ground so it neutralizes the baneling's acid?

He probably wants an anti-armored unit that requires flair to use instead of one that makes the audience groan when they see it. There are ways to design a counter rather than having a completely vanilla unit with lots of hit points and an arbitrary damage bonus.

It's pretty big for just a transformed hellion.. What if its a hellion together with a marauder or viking like you can make archons with templar.

Its a boring "no skill" unit that doesnt fit in the terran army at all. Im a terran and i hate the marauder


How is it any more boring or no skill than a Marine, or a Stalker, or an Immortal, or a Hydralisk, or a Roach? They are all point and shoot units that only require micro at the highest levels.

Great work. I don't give much weight to the "Transformer" idea, but prior to your work I thought it'd be a factory unit. But now I clearly see the "legs" of biological being so it's gotta be a barracks unit.

It could just be a hellion with a new form. Same stats, but you now research a transformation that gives the unit more legs in the late game. I would't be shocked in terran mech gets a few things like this.

I want to see what protoss gets. I want another basic unit that can buffer the mid game and make the whole game less colossi focused. Also, upgrades for all unloved units, immortal, hyrda, carrier, ultra. It worked in BW, it can work in SC2.

it's a new goliath that you can only have 1 of in 1 invisible control group. it also walks like a dragoon and has dragoon ai and each attack has to be targeted on a separate enemy or you take damage. takes more skill!

Because marines are pretty fragile, marauders are pretty much a "terran zealot" with concussive shells.
