To be honest I do not see what kind of utility or addition they can add to Terran that it already doesn't have. T has no real weakness and has the best defense, harass, drops and dps. So utility unit that can even transform to fit different rolls seems excessive.

I'm not all too confident in Blizzards design philosophy, "think of cool units and just add them to the game" instead of thinking about what kind of unit would add to the game and then think it up. They are, in my opinion, doing it the wrong way around. Needless to say, there is little reason to draw any conclusions about HotS so far but I still disagree with their philosophy.

I think they are planning on getting hellions spidermines, so they move the flame weapon to a new beefier but slower mech unit.

I really expect them to give some units new abilities, not just introduce new units.

I agree with the hellion transformer, but I wonder why a unit would need two modes of ground movement? Perhaps is is the armor change after all, you move your hellion around quickly, but when you need it to stand and fight, you turn it into a robot and get an armor increase. The problem is that I don't think they can change the hitpoints, so it will still be fragile.

If I would have to go wild, I would say it is going to be able to stim in walking mode. That would be insane.

Sadly it looks like another bio unit to me.
The factory units are getting stale but maybe I'm wrong and it is a factory viking (landed) concept seeing as the current ground viking is useless.

It looks like some Hellion/Thor mix. So when hellions go into the mineral line, they roast all drones. However, after that they were usually killed.

So now they can turn into something similar to thor-mode after all drones are killed and proceed to kill the stalkers or roaches as well.
I can no longer rest under the tree of wisdom, since you have axed down the roots feeding it.

Ahahhaahah, good one. The thing on the top could be a water hose that puts out burning SCVs after a blue flame invasion, though.

On a more serious note, it really looks like a new type of firebat or indeed a transforming hellion. The arms could be some sort of shields, or just the wind shield of a hellion. I hate the hellion design anyway, so I am excited about this unit.

My Conspiracy Theory:

Blizzard didn't know what unit they could possibly give to Terran,

So they released only an outline of the unit, hoping the community would then speculate on what it could be

People would then make new ideas and draw things, and Blizzard will eventually choose one and say 'you guys were right!'

The unit looks terrible, judging from this silhouette.

I think the clunky, "individual" looking unit design is really ugly and misfitting for a Strategy game. This silhouette looks like it has made by someone in their garage based on various parts of other units, not mass produced for war.

The units should have a clear and simple design, so that it looks like a mass-producible unit. Think of Marines, for example, or Immortals. Too individual-looking, eye-catching and specific units like Thors, and to a lesser degree Hellions, just screams "this is not part of an army, this is something a garage-entrepreneur has cooked up". It is not single-minded enough in its functionality or design.

The above is also why I dislike the Protoss army 'kinda' being divided into yellow/bright color and blue/dark color. In my opinion they should have gone with a total 50/50 split with a much clearer division, or they preferably would simply made elements of both in all Protoss units. Like it is now is just not aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. You have an air force with 2/3 being a glowy yellowish color, while some of the ships for some reason is a completely different aesthetic. I understand the lore reasoning, but that should not allow for bad aesthetics.

Godamnit.. a new terran unit is the last thing the game needs, and I say that as a terran player. The terran race is the most complete out of the 3.

Really weird and kind of provoking that they choose to tease a terran unit first, and not a zerg unit when its for a zerg expansion.

if it are trully wheels on the shoulders and legs it shouldnt possible be a bio unit. Well my body won't bend in ways to make all the wheels touch the ground.

If this is indeed a mech medic...it would be really interesting to see how they would balance it. Remove the ability of the scv to repair factory units, and olny allow the to repair buildings? Quite interesting.
