![]() Time to thumbs down Searing caverns for that retarded bunker location, Nerazim for the distances and lack of bases, and BWG! I think I'm gonna love season 3 ![]()

Close air could prove problematic for zerg because of the small way behing the gold where you cant surround. And on close ground a forge fe by toss would force an all in bacause you cant take a very fast 3rd that doesnt die to a stargate followup. Antiga Shipyard: Everything else than cross is very vulnerable to drops to your main/3rd with tank support from the other side tt cant say more havent played the map a lot. Nerazim Crypt: A top left and bottom left for example could be hard to defend against a tankpush with elevator drop. Overall a small map. Searing Crater: The 3rd can be harassed by a drop on the cliff, maybe even tanks included. The natural is open to hellions, needs to be walled at the back, a hatch first is needed to have the creep at the small entrance before hellions arrive. Ovreall The 3 bases are very safe, could prove problematic in zvp bacuse toss can turtle hard and can defend multi pronged attacks easily. These are the things i found out after a couple of matches, i am zerg btw. Correct me if i am wrong, but it seems like the naturals are very safe, often a forge fe is possible but the 3rd is very hard to take / vulnerable, so a 2 base all in might be the way to go. Lets see how it works out, but at least Searing Crater will get a veto eventually Shipyard and caverns aswell if i got any vetos left ![]()

I'm assuming when blizzard says they're using statistics from top play, they mean top CURRENT play. Of which we have no resource to gauge win-rates. Get some current Zv? stats after the fungal buff, and most recent patch change, over a large pool of games, and then we'll have some statistics that matter. TvZ record: 153-173 (46.9%) ZvP record: 129-114 (53.1%) No close position, stats from 23 March, when patch 1.3.0 was released. TLPD is useful.

Statistics say that Terran has a 65% win-rate on XNC against Z over the past month at the highest levels of play, (for comparison, metalopolis was 56% for Z) but no one is calling for its removal...

Remember Crossfire? Everybody saying this would be sooo bad for Zerg and it turned out to be quite good? (Speaking as a Zerg myself)
