NICE!

I LOVE this map pool it destroys the current one (in a good way),
Also Meta was a very overrated map imo, and with close ground spawns it was just way way too imbalanced.
To truly own you have to own in all games!

I have searched b.net and here with no success, anyone from the SEA server know how long b.net was down for? i know it says till 11am pst but last season it didnt last nearly that long (6:30 am pst i believe)...just trying to decide if i can stay up to play a couple or if its too long to wait

Don't blizzard realize that they ruin plaiyng ladder for people that are interested in participating in tournaments?
There are only 3 maps left that are regularly played in tournaments. Ladder is just no practice no more. Guess I have to play a ton more customs now.

Listen guys. I don't know why I need to point this out, but tournament results are over all patches, and thus are not current. I'm assuming when blizzard says they're using statistics from top play, they mean top CURRENT play. Of which we have no resource to gauge win-rates. Get some current Zv? stats after the fungal buff, and most recent patch change, over a large pool of games, and then we'll have some statistics that matter.

I really don't know why backwater is still in the rotation.....

But I am excited to see how these new maps will play out, can't wait how they will fair in tournaments if they are used.

I'm enjoying the new 2v2 Maps thus far at least, especially The Boneyard. The Xel'Naga Towers on Tyrador Keep have a wierd bit of terrain around them that makes it a little less enjoyable but certainly a step up from Gutterhulk.

There's bound to be plenty of zergs hating on the lack of huge ass crevasse macro maps.

Overrated map?

I suppose that's why it's used in every tournament @_@

They just needed to remove the imba spawns not the map.

This is so bad. I really thought we get some more good maps we've seen in tourneys ... yet the use all their crappy PTR maps. Don't get me wrong but the melee mappers at Blizz are just fucking bad!

I will miss Scrap. It is my favorite map. With the wide ramps, close air distance and several (semi) islands and a far gold base, the map promotes certain strategies while those ones can be used to outsmart the opponent.

The ladder using different maps from tournaments just means the pros will stop playing on it and it will become harder to go pro in SC2 because you don't practice on relevant maps while on ladder.
