Basically everything you're assuming is wrong, so don't go insulting other people when you're the one that hasn't got a clue. Here's some facts for you: 1. Idra states that he practices 3 hours a day normally. 2. Puma has been a constant figure in Brood War. Now you may proceed, and this time try not to look stupid. I think he also said once the team house gets set up, he intends to pick it up a bit. But I could be wrong.

However, you just simply don't approach a player, throw a bomb of how awesome your foreign team is and what it can offer you without even consulting TSL, doesn't matter if he has a contract or not, it's just pure ethics, I think it wasn't the greatest idea from EG, in the end, a lot of foreign teams will be punished by this, respect in the east is such a complex thing and I think this will make korean teams be more cautious with their players. And looking at things from Puma's POV, it's completely understandable that he wanted to leave, it's more likely that he'll win foreign tournaments compared to how competitive the GSL is, and as far as I know, TSL isn't really looking forward to these foreign tournaments for their team. More on topic, great acquisition by EG, not particularly fan of their "western" method of doing things but this is a huge deal for them... too bad that suddenly more people are leaving TSL, they were heading to be one of the top-level teams in the world.

If he stays in Korea and lives on his own, his skill level decreases. If he moves to the U.S. and lives with the EG players, his skill level decreases. Really hope he thought this through.

If the player in case (Puma) were contractually binded to TSL, EG would have gone to the team obviously, like they did with Demuslim and MYM. When EG got Idra, they went after a free agent and got him, they didn't go to CJ Entus to ask for him when Idra isn't on CJ anymore we don't even know whether there was a contract between puma and TSL...

Just look at them in their dark shirts, their anger, hate and bm so well known. All they need to complete this is a leaked photo of scoots in some dark robes feasting on a newborn whilst screaming for his minions to bring him the head of TLO. Then we have TL. They're like the 'good' human guys in the story. Much power, but under an oppressive ruler who silences anyone who dares mention the rise of the dark team. They will continue to play as normal, acting as if all is well in world of esports until it is too late. Not until Incontrol destroys Huk on their hometurf will they realise that war is upon them. I don't really follow the team drama's enough to work out the rest. But somehow mousesports, sixjax and all the others will have to band together, making an alliance with the Korean teams to slay EG. All with CombatEx following behind mumbling to himself.

I said that Idra knows what it is like to practice a lot because he played broodwar. That implication was that he used to practice a lot back then and understands what that regiment is like. You need to calm down.

Just like there are bad ethics, there are also certain requirements you have to meet if you want to successfully participate in the business world. You wouldn't employ somebody at your grocery store without a written contract, would you? Just like that, in professional esports you are obligated to make sure that you have valid player contracts (and in the past, it was proven numerous times that esports contracts are in fact legally binding).

You seem to be the one who doesn't get the business world...Puma was under a contract, EG contacted him and asked him to break contract, he did not discuss his potential move with his management at all until he told them basically that he was leaving. Or do you think that people are allowed to break contracts in the business world? lol

IF (big IF) Puma was NOT under contract to TSl, then they should have worked harder to make sure he was happy where he was. IF Puma was NOT under contract to TSL then this is NO different than a player who goes to one teams training camp, then decides to sign with another team who offers him more. Happens ALL THE TIME in pro sports. Congratulations to EG for an amazing player aquisition.

Yeah, it would be really interesting to see what EG says about this as sirscoots was pretty harsh and opinionated on fnatic and sk handling of gux/delpan. edit: that's how I remembered it anyways, would be nice if someone has time to find the lo3-episodes, I'm at work. But I think it was during may.

worst case scenario he moves to america and fades into competitive level obscurity like incontrol and machine. maybe he can be a guest caster on NASL season two. best case scenario he wears their jacket around and never speaks to them unless its to get his pay cheque.
