Sir Scoots is the CEO and team manager of Team Evil Geniuses. After leaving GotFrag, he joined forces with Marcus 'djWHEAT' Graham and Rod 'Slasher' Breslau on a show called Live on Three. He was approached by Alex Garfield to help run Evil Geniuses. Two years later, he has helped to continue the growth of the ESPORTS scene with the introduction of OneMoreGame. He is still a host for Live On Three.

Alex Garfield is on his own platform X_X

This is more one-sided than meets the eye. Is DJWheat contracted by EG? I wish this was going down somewhere else, with some proper representation of the other side.

edit: now he's trying to turn it around on Milkis -_--- jesus

After watching WoC I feel more like EG wasn't in the wrong since it is bad business to have guys on a team that aren't signed and to me that means they are fair game. Just making promises verbally can't cut it imo, its nice and everything but at the end of the day being nice doesn't always pay off. Interesting show today, seems like they strayed way to far on the international vs Korea model stuff though as far as growing the game more, since its not the main topic. Either way if the Koreans have that same outlook as "why does internation scene matter" like was mentioned that is a really asshole way to see things. Just my two cents. :/

That kicks the bucket..

Yeah, Milkis kinda shot himself in the foot big time with that comment.

He said it in terms of the conversation. Gosh you guys are sounding like F level journalists by quoting this. No offense but he didn´t claim that the Foreign scene was unimportant as far as the whole SC2 scene is concerned.

Puma is just greedy lol, TSL doesn't offer as much money as EG apparently.

Greedy in what way? Would you take a 3% raise, or a 6% raise at your job? You mean not stupid, then sure, he's "greedy". He wants to be compensated for his gameplay.

Oh god, he said he plans to have Puma train at the EG team house.

Hahahahahahahahaha, RIP Puma's career. Poor guy is going to get so frustrated after the first week of trying to train with EG.

In my opinion, what EG is doing is forcing the SK sc2 community and leaders to head towards a more closed, kespa kind of situation. Which... is the opposite of what most people want.

wtf, of course it matter. Western esport/player are just as relevant as koreans.

why does the international scene matter (in the context of what I'm talking about)? -Milkis

because this eg guy only know how international scene works. so he approached puma like he would any other non-korean player

i don't think he meant any disrespect.
actually xeris posted earlier that approaching players and saying "we are interested in you" is something he as a team manager is okay with.

I dont think progamers are paid enough yet that you can honestly say that looking for more money is "greedy"

WTF Milki's, why should foreign teams tip toe around Korean culture. Maybe Korean teams should recognize the incoming wave of contract signings and protect themselves.

Why does the international scene matter when an international team talks directly to a player in the Korean scene instead of talking to the Korean team management?

Answer: it doesn't

People who call players who switch teams for more money, greed, are the biggest hypocrites ever. Anyone would change firms if jobs paid more. I wish this "reasoning" would die.

i think puma made a good choice to leave tsl as they were kinda falling apart but EG? i think he would be better served to have joined another team, i dont think he will get the practice he needs ...

No Dj wheat isn't contracted by EG. The think is that Milkis really isn't an expert on the subject.

I think people are overlooking at how the Korean players won't meet their full potential if they leave Korea. Do you think Puma will get better in North America with worse training partners and the North American server? No, he won't.

From what AG alluded to earlier on the show, it seemed that EG was considering forming something inside of Korea -- maybe even the mythical Korean EG house. Either way, I don't think its probable that EG is getting Koreans without considering the effect that training and practice has on them.

They're building an infrastructure to handle good Korean players.

Just like they built infrastructure to handle Idra in Korea?

Boom.

They figured out it was going to take longer, so they brought Idra home. Some things just take times.

From a legal perspective i do not think EG did anytihng wrong, but if you are approaching this matter from a moral perspective shouldn't it have been important to recognize that PuMa and TSL were the stakeholders affected by this transfer? If that is the case, why was it difficult to contact the TSL Coach and tell him, hey Mr. Lee we are interested in PuMa, we are going to start negotiations with him? From that point onwards TSL could have voiced their opinions on that matter and they wouldn't be faced with a player leaving their team without having any say in it?

This.

And you wonder why EG has Puma on the way.

Everyone seems to quoting this, but I think milkis was interrupted by djwheat before he was even able to make his point. He wasn't really saying the international scene doesn't matter - that would be just ignorant. He was rather talking about the korean culture and trying to help Alex understand why the way they approached Puma created the uproar that it did.

Your saying he isn't saying the international scene doesn't matter, because the fact that the international scene doesn't matter is just the perspective Korea has as a culture.

What?

Alex has been stating that he feels the entire situation and reaction from korea has been exaxggerated. YES, the international scene doesn't matter when you don't understand the "overreaction" coming from the KOREAN side of the table.
