I personally hope that other tournaments and communities learn of this and take a strong stance on cheating. They should ban Major from tournaments for at least 3 months to show that this will not be tolerated.
RootPrincess/SixjaxMajor caught smurfing in tourny - Page 16

Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway. Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please.

Wasn't Haypro, TT1 and a bunch of other progamers cheating in sc1, and yet everyone forgot about it? At the same time, I hate he did this, but, then, I go, "meh". Scumbag move of him anyways. He's from NA. It was a pretty douchey move however, I'm a big fan of him but it's hard to be when he does stuff like this.

What people outside of our region fail to recognise, is that without an incentive, passion can only carry you so far. Eventually the inevitable and frustrating feeling of pointlessness kicks in and people retire. This has been a recurring theme in Australia for the last 11 years. So giving people a reason to practice, improve and compete is the stimulant to building a strong player base. Without MLG and NASL, I dare say the North American scene would be significantly less competitive. Players will often only commit to something when they have a goal in sight. And just to repeat an earlier statement - I have every intention of including international players in the next Dox Cup. This one was just to gauge the interest of the SEA region. Just to be clear, you have a really good head on your shoulders. And I think SEA is much better off to have you. Think about THIS! Without the horrific amount of money lost (yes lost) in the first 2-3 years of BW, NONE of this would be here today. Literally none. We literally owe our entire scene to people like Dox who are willing to take a risk and foster competition somewhere that people wouldn't expect it. I seriously doubt that anyone on ground zero of the BW pro scene would have thought it would be anything like what it is today. Stop hating, start showing support, or get the fuck out. Haters gonna hate and all, but that doesn't mean jump on the bandwagon of blind hate. Use your head, think about it, then post. Dox <3. Keep fighting the good fight.

Major did attempt to cheat the rules of the tournament via a smurf account (fishy)- all so he could win a tournament he wasn't qualified for (unlike everyone else). The point of the tournament was shared location. Get the hell out of this thread. You clearly don't understand what fishy means. Smurfing is not cheating and its not fishy. Its something anyone can do. Just because it dosen't say Sixjax-Major on the account name dosent mean you suddently get hack super powers and beat everyone(I'm sure MeatyOwlLegs(i think it was naniwa's smurf) competed in tourneys). The best player skill wise would've won the tourney so nobody can complain as he didn't use any cheats. Now to let myself be clear: location dosent matter for tourneys as long as you have a account. It's retarded to make a tourney and not let anyone enter. The point of the tourney is not to give someone some money but to get the name of the sponsors out and give entertainment to the viewers. How better to do that than to get really good players competiting and providing good games? People like you who only care about 1st place prize and being overall drama queens just to stir s**t up is what is going wrong with the sc2 community at the moment.

Can't...Feel...Human...Emotions...Because....I....R....Robot. Or, just want to see better games which will undoubtedly happen if major plays. I'm sure $500 will boost the winner of the tournament into a GSL Code S victory though, so perhaps it is for the best...

As FXOtgun is registered that means there was no skill cap on registering for the tournament. So the only problem was location, which nobody cares about. Overall you are just trying to stir stuff up and I see that its somewhat working... a shame that the community just jumps the band wagon to write c**p about some people for something that dosen't really matter. READ THE THREAD, PROPERLY, BEFORE REPLYING. Or are you actually Major on some TL diamond poster's account? I wouldn't be surprised. Major smurfed on someone else's account because he knew he was not allowed to play in this tournament due to him not having a SEA citizenship. He knew what he was doing was fishy and that's why he tried to hide it at first until he realized that wasn't possible and started throwing insults: "cause ur being a fag".

I've already talked to Kelly Milkies, another admin, and Juan about it. All and all, relatively small potatoes. I hope their events go with out a hitch in the future, and I'm sorry that Juan caused a hiccup in what was supposed to be a fun event for the folks of the oft neglected SEA server. I'm surprised there's not as much attention at the fact that Evoli (the Sixjax manager afaik) thinks that smurfing to join a tournament you've been told you're not eligible for because "ur being a fag" is "small potatoes." Really reflects poorly on the organization what Major did and even more that they don't think it's a big deal.

Im pretty sure Artosis wants him on the team for the publicity, any press is good press. If Artosis just wanted a good player, he could've found that anywhere. He picked major for a reason. And even tho he was caught in the act, he can still play the "it wasnt clear" card and somewhat get away without any severe punishment....thats just my opinion. ![]() I don't think artosis cares about the publicity. I think he just wants the best players and he doesn't care if they're decent human beings or not

Way too late for that though, should have made a statement much earlier. But you are correct in some respects, it does reflect a poor management style, and lack of control over contracted players. However, if he was traveling it would have been hard to know this was happening and prevent it from an airplane.

It's his money..who are you to tell him what rules are fair. The point of this tourney is whatever the fuck he says it is. Location does matter for this tournament it was for SEA players only. A tournament with a cash prize to help stoke the flame of competitive sc2 in an under performing area. Major secretly entered the tournament after being directly told he was not eligible , how can this even be argued. He fucked up..pure plain and simple he shit all over the organizers of this tourney and completely ignored their rules.

This comment is just like peope stereotyping SEA as a waste of time scene and only starts a bigger problem then what is needed. There are dumb people EVERYWHERE in the world. The US just happens to get most of these people showcased on TV or on forums/internet.
