RootPrincess/SixjaxMajor caught smurfing in tourny - Page 14

Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway. Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please.

Hopefully you'll continue to have fantastic major tournaments and people like major won't crap all over them by specifically breaking tournament rules. Best of luck Edit: On July 18 2011 13:35 Probe1 wrote: I don't recognize Major's actions reflecting unto sixjax. Perhaps to others it will but I don't want to blame Artosis or anyone else for the actions of an individual - or even call for his dismissal from the team. I only vote with my viewership to not support Majors stream any more. At some point, you have to view major as part of an organization, and even though he was acting on his own (theoretically), the organization should take SOME sort of stance on the issue. It's one of their players afterall. Teams are basically putting their stamp of approval on players, and when one of them cuts up and does something wrong, it speaks for the entire team. While it might not be the stance of the team, it's extremely difficult for them to be able to distance themselves from it. The real heart of what I'm saying comes from evoli's post. They won't care. If I get pissed at them it won't make a difference. Should they stop embarrassing Western players? Yes. If this behavior continues to emanate from the team will they lose respect? Yes. But this thread won't make them care. However we can use it to show Dox our support. <3 Dox <3 SEA

Major plays for money, just like any other athlete, whether e-sport or not. He has his reasons, even if they were against others, to make money. Besides, not many of the people who are complaining in this thread have devoted their career to play games, so not many of us can truly comprehend how important winning money tournaments are, regardless of the methods used. So armed robbery is fine then, by your justification. He broke the rules, plain and simple, and then proceeded to berate the admins and the organiser of the tournament who forked out his own cash for the prizemoney. And allegedly stuck around in the tournament chat room for three hours to abuse people. I fail to see how anyone in their right minds who has read all the evidence presented in the OP can empathise with major here.

Overall you are just trying to stir stuff up and I see that its somewhat working... a shame that the community just jumps the band wagon to write c**p about some people for something that dosen't really matter.

People do care about. It's a tournament for SEA players... hm... somehow Mexico isn't part of Southeast asia, why doesn't Major go ahead and compete in NA cups? o wait he doesn't actually win those.

Do me a favor will you? Get the fuck out. And don't come back. Lets kill E-Sports because Major wants $500. Sounds like reasonable logic to me. Fuck the rules. Don't like them? Break them. A tournament to inspire better players from SEA? Obviously that's a great place to send already professional players from other regions. Developing the SEA scene is important. Developing all the scenes is important. Sixjax.Major is not important. He's one of a billion "pros" who aren't winning anything. What we don't need is a cheater in the professional community, and we especially don't need people who not only support his illicit actions, but are COMPLETELY INDIFFERENT to the rules made by the guy who PAYED THE PRIZE MONEY. Obviously the person who funded and administrated the tournament cares, and Major did in fact cheat, and lie. A shame that people don't even give a shit that Major tried to scam this guy out of his 500 bucks for his tourney.

Using your logic why don't we just give all the Esports money out there to the GSL code S winner? care to explain this to me? Seems like a logical solution, the better player should get all the money.

And i cant believe people are like "this is a SEA turny so is does not matter". It does not matter if is a big or small truny, no pro player should do something like this. Those people that got knocked out by major must be so mad.

Really? Did you actually read the OP, the thread or any of the links? Major did attempt to cheat the rules of the tournament via a smurf account (fishy)- all so he could win a tournament he wasn't qualified for (unlike everyone else). The point of the tournament was shared location. Get the hell out of this thread.

A SEA tourney with a big prize pool is all good, but unless the best from other countries are allowed to enter as well, a lot of the community won't accept them. I for one would see it as the recent IPL seasons not just yet accepting people from too many different countries, trying to keep it small you see, but whatever. People won't think you're big until the Idras and the White-Ras are allowed to play. I understand that. I was moreso looking for a prize value which would constitute a "big deal."
