I was thinking in paying if not just to see the finals in HD but honestly after one game i made my mind to not doing so. All big tournaments i've been on (im a quake 3 / quakelive player) where bo3 / bo5 (so that ain't an issue) but we always had double elimination. It's inconceivable to have this kind of layout on such a big tournament. I don't like the Korean leagues beeing single elimination either and imho it should evolve to double elimination. The sound and camera problems i can look the other way but i find it funny that the games had no health bars on them and everyone was going "AHHHHHH OHHHHHHH" and i was like "How the hell do they know the HP left on that?" You guys should have had a couple hours of "debug" streaming with some players playing so you could grasp all (or at least some ) of the problems you could have had. More user input --> faster debug of the problems. Take made such a wonderfull tournament. Not wanting to be this entrepreneurial made HSC 3 so good and "cozy". But that's hes own style. Question: Why do you have to make something equal to the korean style? How about creating your OWN style? Now that i would love to see. In the end im just disappointed, i had great expectations for this ![]() GL next season! Hope to buy a ticket :D PS: Love the tiny "boxes"...

The problem is, they have been over promising, and under delivering all season long. Stream problems, poor production, not delivering matches, no replays (even to people who forked over $25), poor tournament format, etc, etc. When you compare it to IGN's IPL...it's like night and day. IGN/IPL is an organization deeply rooted in eSports, and it shows. They didn't come along trying to act like some prestigious "star league" entitled to our money. They just rounded up some great players and casters, and did an amazing job (Free HD, Free Vods, Free Replays, Reruns, Better production, no hiccups, are constantly improving, etc). With an attitude like that, I would gladly purchase any kind of premium package IPL offers because I see them acting in good faith. I bought the NASL HD pass mostly to support eSports, but in reality -- they are just a business, not a group of passionate gamers trying to bring something great to the community. GOTMV can take the corporate approach, (which I gladly pay for), because they actually deliver. And just to clarify once again, my main "issue" isn't the actual little problems (albeit annoying), but more so their attitude. Compare to organizations like IPL and MLG. Now those guys have my respect and support for the little things they do. Sundance gets major props for listening to community feedback so thoroughly, and acknowledging his shortcomings (dallas) and making them right (and frankly, going beyond the call of duty when doing so). Oh well, hopefully Duncan & associates can take what they have learned and make a better impression in season 2. Cheers.

Although I agree with a lot of what your saying... you think because you supported esports (WHICH IS GOOD)- that you have some kind of divine unbiased hero-opinion. Hey I supported esports with cash now I can claim every person in NASL was in it for the business only. How bout a lot of people are in it for the love of sc2 and a lot of the people who took responsibilities skimped and cut corners.

The next two days better be pretty close to perfect if there's going to be any chance of my renewing my Premium for next season. At the very least I expect some Sundance @ Dallas level groveling (if it is then followed by vast improvements, like Columbus).

If anybody believes this league is not run by a bunch of greedy little children that saw how well all the other tournaments were doing, and just wanted a piece of their pie...YOU ARE DELUSIONAL.

Its all these little things that keep you from enjoying the event as much as you might. But of course it's all irrelevant if the games themselves are amazing, and so if I was given one wish it would be to bring in a loser's pick for the maps instead of having them pre-set. It'd be much more interesting to watch and maybe we'd get to see the odd set go to 2-1 instead of 2-0 plus additional dead air.

Kind of funny, when it wasn't even a sponsor message (Like sponsorship on TV works in Sweden). A sponsor will get presented as supporting the show before and after, not run ads in the middle of it.

It feels like they just cut back on the quality of everything in order to have as many games as possible.

I have one thing to add though: Why on earth do organisations get away with saying "This is our first event, bla bla unexpected this and that bla bla" when you work with a industry as big as Esports. Damn it, learn from each others mistakes instead of failing massively. Dreamhack had their issues last year with sound and they fixed it for the previous summer event. MLG had catastrophic technical issues with their Dallas event, even GomTV had their issues at the start. So my question to NASL is this: Why haven't you gathered information and help from other big tournaments to avoid similar problems and issues?! P.S It's shameful for me as a spectator to see a player who travelled across the entire world get knocked out in two quick 10 minute games in a bo3, shame on you NASL. SHAME!
