I still have hope for the NASL because these problems are not terminal, and can be remedied. I feel that if the NASL has sort of botched season 1, but if it can get its act together for season 2, it will be a successful league.

1. My speakers are on the wrong side. 1a. Speakers / OS modifications don't always fix audio. 2. Take breaks between series (like go to McDonald's) 3. VODs are made so I don't have to stay up so late. 4. Don't let uninformed females do interviews with progamers.

1) Double elimination format. It's simply a waste of time to have players fly over and half of them get eliminated in the first round. 2) Less time between games and matches. 8 matches should not have taken 13.5 hours. 3) Less awkward attempts at humor. It's great if you're actually funny, but there were many times I had to mute the stream out of sheer embarrassment. 4) Sound tech. It's been a huge issue the entire season actually. Otherwise it was certainly watchable and I don't know why every was flipping out. Although I may have felt differently if I had paid for this content, but I knew from day 1 NASL not to pay for this so.

Double Elim should be implemented immediately.

To all those at home in your comfy chairs, sound issues I could deal with, but paying $25 for a ticket, plus parking, food and travel to miss the game? You guys can stuff it. I certainly hope they can correct both the sound issues AND the inhouse projector. It seemed that none of the remotes they had for the projectors worked, so you'd have to manually adjust them. Yes, I understand they had to make a projector swap which probably cause tons of issues, but it was very unpleasant to watch it sitting there.

And of course now I'm frustrated yet again by the fact that I'm not even going to be able to see the games for a few days, since it takes NASL so long to upload VODs. I am an unhappy umlaut ![]()

-Those intermissions, the 10 minutes ones and the 1 hour breaks were slowing down the pace of the tournament.I m in Europe and i started watching at 21:00 o clock and the last game (boxer vs Mc finished at 09:00 am.Brutal..... -Single elimination is so bad, for the reasons stated in the above post. -The casters (exception the day9 dude) werent giving the passion and the excitement needed. -Poor lighting for the casters area, also the black curtins behind them didnt help, felt like cheap and i know that this tournament didnt cost cheap. The gear/equipment is there but the coordination lacks (closed mics, bad sound etc) I followed NASL, i watched the games and i believe it is a descent effort, i m not condemning anything, the guys worked their asses, but the whole production even though it is not cheap, it felt like it. I know production people are not dumb and they are not waiting for us to pinpoint their mistakes, they know them from the first minute they occur, but i sincerely hope they fix the things needed to be fixed.

http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/ Pretty funny :D NASL started really bad and I don't care if season 2 is going to be better. When I'm paying my ticket I am not making an investment in NASL but I'm buying a product/service from them that i want NOW. I feel really sorry for all the players that went there, and for the image of ESPORTs. And so that you guys understand. Even after they fix everything, things doesn't matter. All of the issues that everyone complained about are STANDARDS in any other tournament. I will not get all enthusiastic and go : "Yeeee, I have sound, I am so happy". We want ESports to grow. Glad we have NASL, now we can really appreciate all other tournaments. I hope I'm not getting banned for saying my opinion. I am a client after all, and feedback is part of any company.

Kinda sucks that you have to play for 2 months, get to grand finals and be out in first round by bo3. Hopefully ro8 will be bo5. This especially makes me angry since incontroll (who is till there for s1) seems to be ok with that format, since he's always been huge on criticising bo3 and single elim on SOTG. Pisses me off hell more than 1 h delay.

I go to Cinema and pay 12€ for it, Movie should start at 16:00 and end 17:30. Well I go in and find out, that the voice is only coming from the other side of the theater. Some part of the movie screen were misssing and the movie ends 19:30. And some guy comes and says to me: "If you don't like it, dont watch it." It's important to give feedback. Mostly complains here are legit and for a good reason. There is no shame for expecting a professional and well organized/planed material. When the feedbacks are bad they need (or atleast should) improve. If nothing else, atleast they know, they should be doing better.

In my opinion this event is a bad example of some company trying to make money with growing esports. The love, the passion every gamer is talking about is just gone. No starcraft signs, no creativity with the booths.. This looks like they took the cheapest/biggest room they could get, bought the cheapest booths /all black, they could get, then did a cheap banner on their desk.. and lets go. The only thing that brought some love back were the guys who werent involved during the whole season, day9, tasteless and artosis. Those 3 gave some passion back, unfortunately they are stuck with a modern production company, mainly focussing on making money. Next season give the 100.000$ to TaKe, he will show you how to bring passion to a tournament. Either this format of NASL changes drastically, or they lost me as customer.
