Yeah, he definitely blew a pretty big opportunity. I was really surprised when he got picked up by root, and even more so when he survived the acquisition by complexity. CoL is the best team that would even consider picking him up. He'll suffer as a player because of this. Even though I'm not a fan, I hope he can at least get some team to pick him up.

He likes to be provocative and be free / say whats on his mind / do what he wants. The contract with col would have seriously cut into his freedom / the way he wants to be, so he chose to be independant (for the time being), as long as he finds a team that accepts how he handels things / presents himself. If that would be the case, i have even more respect for him.

Destiny has said before that he is not interested in the smaller/less competitive team and he would rather be the worst player on a good team so he could improve. I don't know what team would take him though. I don't know what coL thought they were getting when they acquired him. If they didn't want his language/mannerisms they should have just dropped him from the deal.

No GOOD team will ever want that. Good riddance imo. I was simply saying that he didn't promote any "negative image" for Root, refuting the "can't be trusted to promote good image" claim. Yes Root's gone, but Destiny didn't get into any big "trouble" so to speak that I can think of while on it, so it would be a pretty wild claim to say he "can't be trusted".

He refused to participate with the team. Also, it was our full intention on allowing him to speak his mind on his stream but within certain boundaries of professionalism. I spoke with him personally before this was released and he knew it was coming. I think he's a good guy but it just didn't work out at this time. I wish him the very best in the future. that's weird because on the stream he saw the post and was like... "WTF? Are you kidding me??" Not sure why he would act all surprised unless he was acting to get more publicity or something
