Destiny joining EG within 3 months

Destiny is a player that alot of teams will want. Maybe not big name teams but he will find a good team just cause hes Destiny and he has improved so much. He makes his own money from his streams, he'll get a team eventually.
|
I'll always be a fan of Destiny no matter what, some teams might not like his attitude and that's fine with me, but i sincerely hope he doesn't change his style.

probably has something to do with his NASL open disaster vs capoch?

Releasing Destiny will stop them from being competitive? I don't see how.

I think you're partially right. I think the major problem is that he won't censor himself which is totally understandable. If he didn't act the way he did I highly doubt he'd be in any sort of spotlight.

The difference is that Kiwikaki is good enough (and not as controversial enough) that he can pretty quickly make it onto another team, no disrespect to destiny but he is not at the level of most above-average to good pros and his personality will just make him that much worse a prospect than other mediocre pros. (I repeat that I really don't have anything against him and am not trying to insult him, I'm simply stating my opinion on his level of skill)

Interesting. So he was kicked solely because of his conduct on his personal stream?
|
Would really like to hear from him about this, but he very rarely posts on TL I think. Still a fan though, keep doing your thin <3
|
seems like on his stream he didn't know he was kicked. lol
Edit: on stream... few seconds ago. he reacted like he didn't know. He was like "wha...?? really?" "are you serious?"

They already have difficult-to-motivate Idra, it'd be difficult managing 2 players that have such strong opinions on different matters.....
but who knows, Destiny is very popular on TL and that could be a positive.

Well he probobly have more fans then the enitire coL team so shouldnt really hurt him that much. He isnt really winning tournaments and making pricemoney anyway, guess he might lose sponsors to pay LAN trips, but ROOT didnt pay for that anyway did they ?
Guess the team wanted him to change his stream, which would have made him lose fans and lose more money then he gained from the team.

sure hope this is a troll. too bad to see him go so quick but this has zero implications on our ability to compete
|
It's a shame that this happened. It seemed like he was really comfortable in ROOT and was fitting in perfectly. I can't really see him being anywhere else and having a more traditional team membership.
Good luck to him in the future.

Hopefully he finds a team that he takes more seriously. VT perhaps?

Well they didn't provide many details, but did mention opinions expressed on his stream and "professionalism." Honestly, no one watches Destiny just for his playing ability - he's popular for being wild. Complexity picking him up and expecting him to be a model G-rated player would be as stupid as EG requiring Idra to gg in all of his games.
|
Anyone got clue why he got kicked? Pretty frustrating they didn't say that.
|
wow, destiny just found out about that himself on his stream. he didnt know... like wtf!? how can they announce it before informing him

No, I think he didn't want to be part of coL because to him it sort of meant censoring himself. Business wise I think that would have a much more negative effect on his stream, then leaving coL.
|
Kinda wish they didn't write it in such a douchey way. But good for destiny, I'm sure he'll find a new home soon anyway.
