Correct me if I'm wrong but something Blizzard needs to learn is rushes should be effective because the other guy did a risky high econ build not because the rush distance was small or it was close positions

they're not making rush maps so that rushes "are stronger", they're making them rush maps so that there is more pressure and aggression

ideally, it would be back and forth, low econ fighting, but humans make too many mistakes so it doesn't end up that way

My biggest complaint is that they are all very uninteresting in terms of aesthetic value. Maybe I'm just used to the new GSL maps, but seriously... O_O

The maps might be bigger than they look and who knows they may even get rid of close spawns on meta and stuff too ( a kids gotta dream right).

The third on Kerrigan's Wrath laid wide open as soon as the rocks are gone, and features a Lost Temple-esque highground.


As soon as the rocks are gone, you should have already started a good enough econ on 3 base.

The only maps I see that I really like are the 3v3 maps...which is good because 3's need some love...but really, advertising a RUSH map? lololololololololololol /veto I actually like to have fun when I play, a 6 minute ling fling doesn't do it for me.

That pretty much is the entire problem with blizzard right there. "The" macro map. So... the other 3 maps you arent expected to macro.. only rush? because btw, rush beats macro, so if 1 player rushes they are both subject to the rush.

So 1/4 maps are macro.

Why doesnt blizzard want their ladder to teach players to play properly?

They are ruining this game with the map pool. I can't believe how much they cater to the "rush". People are getting rewarded for high risk play which imo takes away from the game.

That depends entirely on strategy. Just look at Crevasse, where important rocks are often killed to start a 4gate!
