Would you be able to record questions pre-show and then replay the questions for the panel to answer during the show? (This would stop the "trolls", too.) OR Would you be able to take some calls pre-show, find out what they're going to ask and then get them on the line during the Q&A segment of the show? (You can't guarantee that they're not trolls, but that's not guaranteed in the current format.)

One day.... Some one inspired phones in, and doesn't ask a stupid question. When that day comes my friend, peace on Earth will emerge.

I remember when I started playing sc2 i vetoed lost temple and metalopolis as they were 4 player maps, and i prefered a map like steppes as it was very simple.

Big fan of DJWheat , have been the since the very first weapon of choice, Painuser too. And, incidentally, where was the word HATE?? I simply put that a certain someone should grow up a little and stop with the "veiled threats" shit.

The point of the shows is also the live interaction. That way you can have people call in and ask with relevance to what's been said, react in any way. It's probably really hard but you could try to ask them to reiterate the question (with the 3 gate DTs counter push question I had no problem understanding what the question is about but sometimes it happens that the hosts have to ask for a clarification) and if it's still something simplistic then send them to "RTFM" and don't even bother answering IMO.

SC2 came along and reignited my love of online play. Through programs like this as well as State of the Game and Day[9]'s efforts, I've become more in tune to the gaming world and particularly the SC culture. Thanks for the good work djWHEAT and keep it up! You're a fabulous caster and I love that this becomes a 'off with the kids gloves' sorta program to contrast your professional casting. :-)

DJWheat and iNcontroL - insightful questions, well thought out answers, funny, pushing forward the conversation IdrA - If a comment about other zerg doing well comes up, they only did well because the other guy sucked or the winning zerg employed a "gimmicky" tactic. Otherwise zerg is underpowered. Typically looks uninterested and like he doesn't want to be there. PainUser - Agrees with almost everything DJWheat/iNcontroL says and lends little to the conversation. I know that IdrA and, to a lesser extent, PainUser are fine players and know a lot about their race, but DJWheat should really look into getting more interesting personalities for the zerg and terran spots. Otherwise, he may as well just put the noodle girl for those spots because that's how much the other 2 are lending to the show IMO.

On top of all that, consider that this "pulse on the community" these progamers/casters have is funneled almost exclusively through TL. Hell a recent poll on here showed over 70% of the people browsing these forums were diamond or above... im not saying thats scientific... im saying the pulse they are reading is from generally higher level players. Again, why alienate a group you don't have to? As for the maps themselves. You even have wheat citing Bel`Shir beach as an example of a map that would be good in the pool. Give me a fucking break.

To idra's credit, he didn't look like he was interested or wanted to be there on his own damn show with artosis. I think that's just how he looks. And painuser always agrees with DJW/geoff, because geoff just covers all the obvious important stuff that really matters first. Wheat just needs to mix up who he asks first more often.

InsideTheGame is much better than SotG now. Always thought Wheat was a better host too. Edit: I take that back, they both have 1 or 2 top players
