It's just so obvious that the EG members of the show put the least amount of effort possible into this production. Does anyone else feel the same way? Am I way off base here? Would love to read others' opinions. I dunno, I found it entertaining. How seriously do you want them to take it? Suit and ties?

They (the EG crew, more so iNcontrol) seemed to be putting in a 2 out of 10 in the effort category. I would really appreciate more of a 7 (I think what you were suggesting was somewhere around a 13 ![]()

Without iNcontroL the show would just be boring and if you care enough to post on a thread about how much you don't like the show then don't post at all. This makes no sense at all. Criticism is an important part to improvement.. I fell like you are the one trolling here, and not those of us who sincerely wish for a better show.

Yeah iNcontroL joked around on this episode more than some others, but he still offered great advice and viewpoints on the topics. You gotta remember that EG is at that LAN in Chino so they are in a public environment where they are getting interrupted, hence why iNcontroL was looking off camera a lot.

My criticisms are small but here they are: - I agree with a previous poster that there did seem to be a lack of interest/effort from the EG boys, however this can probably be put down to where they were casting from (it would be hard to remain focussed at a LAN centre). - I don't like people getting laughed at for asking simple/stupid questions; my philosophy is that it is better to ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake. - The show (this episode of it) seemed to lack a bit of direction; most previous episodes seem more focussed on playing the game itself, rather than things peripheral to that. Maybe my memory is failing me, though. But, yeah, I love the show and await it eagerly every week!

Edit: I think they laugh at the bad questions, because rarely is a good question ever asked by someone who calls in. Hate to say it, but its true.

I was kinda disappointed in some of the questions the guest callers asked, they need to put in a 7/10 effort, not a a 2. How's that for criticism (Criticism is good, when it has a point, but when your just saying "I don't like their effort", its a freaking talk show, is iNcontroL supposed to do pull-ups the entire time or something? Or just sit there, relax, and chat with some of his friends, whilst giving you the privilege of watching for free). Edit: I think they laugh at the bad questions, because rarely is a good question ever asked by someone who calls in. Hate to say it, but its true. Yeah I honestly think the terrible questions were way worse than anything else about the show. They just weren't good questions. I really don't know what this "more effort" from Idra and iNcontroL would have lead to. What was going to be different? They answered the questions and gave detail. This week was focused more on the new maps and MLG rather than just game play.

We are not at a black tie event or something. We are in the midst of a boot camp where people are shouting around us and asking us for autographs etc... it's relaxed, fun and casual. We will have these episodes AND we will have episodes where greg and I are sitting at our progamer house dressed and focused. Enjoy both please! bad questions, good questions.. who cares? Enjoy the interaction/content and it's good! That isn't to say there isn't room for improvement/constructive criticism but some idiot saying he almost called just to tell me to "stfu" or w/e is dumb and not needed. If you REALLY have that attitude then please avoid shows I do.. I am who I am and if that is bad for you then be rational and stop attending my events.

(1) I wonder if it might actually means that you are going about this the wrong way? Or that we may have different expectations of what the show would have been? Maybe it was due to the location you were streaming from, but that was the most half-assed episode I have ever seen from djWHEAT, in my opinion. (2) I tried! I did! I watched the entire show, even though I wasn't enjoying it nearly as much as any other show I watch that revolves around SC2! (3) I couldn't agree more, but there are typically at least a few extremest views expressed on these topics, which is unfortunate. Overall, I just feel that this was too lax of an episode for my taste. Maybe this did come across to me as yourself and IdrA putting in a minimal amount of effort into the show, but that is just how it went for me. If this is what the show is going to be sometimes*, okay. I can change my expectations for the show in the future; however, I still thought that I should voice my opinion on the matter, as I have really enjoyed episodes of this show in the past.
