That might be possible in the future, but right now we don't have room for that, unless you want to buy us a bigger studio! The NASL can be that big only with enough community support. We're working out butts off in there every day to make sure that we're always improving. A bigger studio though, is something that might happen in the next few seasons if everything goes well.

How many stream it? How many rely on VODs? (note they also pay money). 4 weeks zZz I retract my last post lmfao. The buffer is now a fake buffer for NASL vods. Don't know why, but it definitely it.

I have just a couple of points I'd like to see addressed, they may have been mentioned already. Player colours/Identification * Don't let the players change (or switch!) colours between games. It can be tough to follow, especially in a mirror match (I think it's confused the commentators a couple of times too) * Don't let players pick colours that blend in with the map or with creep - I can't watch at highest res, and sometimes the mini map is rendered almost useless, with purple Zerg on magenta creep, or green Toss/Terran on grassy maps. * Don't let player pick colours that re too similar. Orange V Yellow Terran is hard to follow. * During the player intro screen and the split screen intro, maybe incorporate a race logo - show who is zerg and who is Terran, and maybe work the player colour into it somehow too. Not everyone knows which race a player plays (assuming you want to reach a wider audience). League Tables - * Show the league tables more often! I don't think everyone that watches the stream goes to the website. It would be great to see a recap at the end/start of each day (just a few mins) to show who is at the top, at the bottom, how it would change if a favourite won, etc, etc. I think it would add so much context, and in a league context is everything. I think it is essential to show it at the end of each day's cast, even more important as the momentum builds to the final games. * Maybe take advantage of the green screen behind the casters to show some of this info in between games? * On player into screens, show the player's current record (you may already, apologies if I haven't seen this). That's about it, GL for future casts!

What happens is that I see NASL starting in 5 mins, turn it on and see 0-1 score. I think, wait, did I just miss the first game? Since I don't have time to watch all of the NASL games I don't know it is a re-run until I look it up (unless it is one of the games I saw).

I don't know why people dislike incontrol/gretorp's casting, I think they're awesome and hilarious. They had a rough start but now their casting seems more genuine and less forced. Don't let the haters keep you down! :D

I can't wait for e-sports (especially sc2) to be mainstream television in america.

Am sure the community would love to know for example what the NASL thinks about the viewing figures they recieve (around 20k tonight which I think is pretty good) and whether or not this is what they expected/hoped for when they launched this project. Perhaps even a rough idea of how many people have subscribed to the HD pass. Anyway keep up the good work ![]()

But obviously there is the issue with large groups that in the long run many games won't mean as much. Like Artosis being down 0-4 and -8 is not going to get back, he's done but still have many games to play. Now I don't know how the system is planned out for future seasons if the player pool will be altered but I feel like it would be awesome if for example the bottom 2 spots in each division is an up and down kinda deal. Where when the nasl gets more established there would be some kind of qualifiers for people to try to get into the next season, and those who win those qualifiers get to face off against those who "dropped out" by landing on the last spots in their divisions. This would actually create a lot of intensity through the entire season even for players who are not at a chance to move on. Because there will be battles between the players on 10'th and 9'th spot to try and claw their way above the trap door.

+ Show Spoiler + Also, why are the mods so trigger happy on the bans in chat? I got banned for just tuning in one day, so I asked who was playing and got banned because I added "BRAH" at the end of my question because gretorp had said that as I was typing.

Problems: site layout is pretty poor, at least to me, make it more intuitive (NASL aren't the only ones that do this poorly, GOM website isn't great either but may as well throw it out there). it took me a good while to find the vods and theres also no clear way to see if im logged in or where to find out how to log in (atm i just try to set videos to a high quality that needs an account and log in that way...) It also takes an absurdly long time to buffer the VODs from justin.tv... I don't know if theres anything you can even do about that but it is really awful, it takes a ridiculously long time to buffer vods and usually i just give up and dont even end up watching because it takes too long and I lose interest by the time it is ready (takes like an hour.) Lower quality vods would probably help here, or use a different website for hosting VODs (justin.tv player is pretty bad) Also get another observer, and make it so he or she can hear what the commentators are saying so they can show you stuff if you ask things like "is stim researched yet?" etc. Make sure they are also skilled at the game so they know what to look for and what is important to show the audience and what to prioritise. This would also remedy the frequent problem of Gretorp getting whispered on bnet in the middle of a cast or getting whispered when a guest commentators skype goes down which looks pretty unprofessional, this way gretorp/incontrol can receive information in the middle of the cast if it comes to that without the viewing experience being. Its hard to observe properly and commentate well at the same time and would make Gretorp's job a lot easier (I'm assuming Gretorp always does the observing here) Sort out your dresscode. Blazer + tshirt looks ridiculous and I hate how this is becoming the norm for eSports. its like a horrible mix of professional and casual, like pizza and chocolate... just because Tastosis wear a blazer and their handsome nerd Tshirts for free advertising doesn't mean everyone else should wear blazer and tshirt. Either go blazer and shirt like Soccer presenters do on TV or go for a casual approach but make sure you don't just end up wearing the same type of clothes every day. Turning casual dress into a uniform is just as weird Also sometimes Gretorp is overenthusiastic, and incontrol implies it on the cast... this is pretty much the worst thing you can do. You're far better off just going with it and going completely crazy over something even if its not that interesting, this is pretty much what every good caster who ever got anyone interested in StarCraft has ever done. (Klazart, Artosis, Moletrap, Husky, Korean sc1 commentators). The enthusiasm is infectious, and people that think its silly probably won't ever have an interest in eSports so it doesn't even matter what they think. Fix the sound issues too, its been plaguing the NASL since day 1 Finally, on a more positive note, gretorp is really improving every day (and so is the NASL in general) so don't take my pretty negative post as hating

Whenever I tune in to NASL, I feel like I'm going deaf on my left ear, because the sound balance is 66% skewed to the right, for some odd reason.

edit: $25 is way too much i reckon. Even the lowest quality stream I am getting is quite decent and I see no reason to upgrade it. You could either make the price cheaper or the quality shitter because what I see is quite clear... lol
