I think some people may have misvoted. I thought the level of casting was going to make day[9] the highest, but if you could get tastosis + day[9] that would be amazing. I think other people may have made the same mistake.

Gretorp and Incontrol lack chemistry and the enthusiasm often sounds fake. Gretorp just doesnt have the voice for casting, it's a snoozefest. I think Incontrol has potential, I think (and I may be wrong) Gretorp brings him down to some extent. This is not meant to be a bash on Gretorp, seems like a really nice guy and I enjoy his streams, however my biggest complain with the NASL has been the casting, not production. It's just not exciting or entertaining, it's just killing dead air. Sometimes I even catch myself muting the stream and playing music, something I've never done with the GSL.

I would like to say that Gretorp and Incotrol do a fantastic job! It kind of pisses me off how rude people have been to them. They have improved incredibly in a very short period of time, and they have begun to develop a great chemistry. I hope they keep them and we all get to watch them reach their full potential as a casting duo.

I also think it would be cool to have some more in depth bio's about the players at appropriate times, with clips of their amazing plays and things that have gained them notoriety.

Big thumbs up to the casters from me man. I agree with Reborn9u stop hating guys! they do a good job and provide good humor as well as analysis, also only noticed the stream's overall brightness when I started using firefox again (opposed to chrome).

<3 NASL some REALLY great games so far

* I think they're zoomed in too much now. When NASL started it was zoomed out too much, but now they seem to have the opposite problem.

* Gretorp still needs work. From the openly disagreeing with Incontrol about when the pool started (srsly?) to the strange automatic nodding when the other person is talking...

The only real issue with NASL right now is the VODs. I'm sure its mostly because of encoding issues, but lately the load times have been awful, to the point where even 12 hours after the upload it still takes 4 or 5 times as long to load the videos as watch them.

I can't really watch the live stream because of timezone issues, but the VODs are just way too inconvenient right now. I still haven't managed to see the QXC vs Whitera series from yesterday, because I haven't had enough time to let the video buffer.

Either whatever technical issues are hurting the encoding need to be sorted out, or a lower quality VOD option needs to be included so they can be watched earlier.

Great product otherwise.

I agree. I have a great connection, but when attempting to hit JTV up for the VODs it is actually hilarious. While right now it seems like I'm going to buffer the videos in about 30 minutes usually I before bed will load up all the matches (from 2 days ago lmfao too long to upload imo) go to sleep, wake up, go to work, come home then perhaps watch a starcraft match. Ending up week 4 is a bit iffy, but at least you guys will win a most improved tournament eventually.

Also I'm pretty sure many people have had this issue before and it was actually fixed with in two days. Especially working with a site as big as JTV. We had training videos posted in too high of quality for our training department (those choosing to train at home), the site had 1 employee and he managed to make it viewable in several different formats. I'm sure JTV could work a bit harder on this especially if they're still hoping to trick people into the "subscription" and pay for the second season.

Edit: My downloads just killed it. Buffered 8 VODs in under 30 minutes.
Now
-Wish you would work with JTV to bring the VODs up the same time as the stream. Prerecorded and we pay for the VODs, so why not?
-Still would like to be able to switch the quality, but if it stays like this I really have no issues.

To finish
Gretorp - You're improving quite a bit. Keep working ignore the hate.
Incontrol - Keep making my cry from laughing so hard cuz SOTG

Change the casters. They're simply don't work together AT ALL. They come across as fake, random head shaking, trying to pitch their voices, and they just don't look interested. I feel like they're both there for the sake of it, rather than actually adding anything to the stream. Queue awkward pause.

My experience with the NASL so far
Check it out - watch it for a few hours then leave out of frustration regarding the sound/video quality and finding the casters to be very boring.
A week goes by - same issues although I stop watching it after 10 minutes.
Another week goes by - I tune in to technical difficulties - annoying sound/video issues being played in a loop over and over again.
Most recently - check it out - forced to watch a commercial to then stare at a blank screen because apparently when the site says "live game in progress" it's just trolling you to earn 10 cents from an advertisement.

I'm not sure why but I had quite a bit of lag in the first few games today when this is pretty much the only night yet I have had any trouble. I was able to watch the squirtle vs KawaiiRice fine though maybe it got fixed.

Been very happy with everything else keep up the good work.

NASL Website -> should have a 'results' tab, at the moment it's impossible to just get a quick overview of the previous day's results unless you go to teamliquid. Standings and statistics tabs are fantastic though!

I think these two are doing very well commentary wise. I like that they are doing it differently from others and not a constant barrage that is day9's play by play.

Slitting up the Vods into different sections for each game... Its kind of annyoing that you kind of know when its's a 2-0 based on the length of the video. Adding something like a spoiler tag like on TL where the video duration is would also be great.

For some reason this is the only stream where all audio only comes from the right speaker.

Not a big deal, but when I'm wearing my headphones... it's odd.

I really like the green-screen background! A lot less "two dudes in a basement"-vibe now. Also, the music has a good volume now.
The only thing that I'd like to change now is the high gamma/brightness in the videos. And maybe more guestcasters once in a while. Like CatsPyjamas.

Any plans of making in game studio games with crowds to attend? I think it would create a much more enjoyable atmosphere...

Just watched Nada vs Strelok. Just one thing really.

Sometimes Gretorp is overenthusiastic, but its really unnecessary for Geoff to calm him down like an excited child live on air. Korean commentators keep yelling and play up the excitement all throughout the game, even when its obviously over, and it sounds fine. Geoff being like "hey...calm down, its over" really, really hurts the cast chemistry. All he was doing was recapping the excitement, and Incontrol just shits all over his point. Childish and unnecessary in my opinion...
