I hope there are titles. Reading through the thread atm to find out when current season ends, anybody know?

Blizzard has stated that in future seasons (and maybe this one?) the final 2 weeks (approximation) of the season leagues will be locked with no promotion, demotion or bonus pool addition to allow for people to compete within their division. Similarly after the first 2 weeks of a new season once the GM division for the season has been decided, the division will be locked with no promotion or demotion (bonus pool will still exist). No one can be demoted from the GM (only 1 per server with 200 players) for playing badly, only inactivity. High Masters players will still want to compete for MMR's sake and getting into GM the next season.

So it's not like a race to the top within the first 2 weeks of a season.

I wonder if each season gets rewarded a special Feats of Strength haha. Relentless Grandmaster, Brutal Grandmaster, Merciless Grandmaster! etc

This is the equivalent of an A+ guy on ICCup...who cares when you still get wrecked by a random proleaguer.

For some people it will be though. For example: If I am a GM player who has floundered the last weeks of the season and am now mostly playing master level players at the start of a new season I will recognize my GM spot is in trouble and race to raise my MMR as fast as possible. Alternatively if I am a master player playing mostly GM people come the end of one season, I will recognize I have the potential to get into GM the next season and be really pushing to get up there before the new cutoff. I agree that pro players will not care because they are recognized as the top anyways and they could be in masters for all they care as long as they get tourney results, but to say people won't be racing during the 2 weeks to get up to the GM cutoff that is invisible is just silly. On a side note I do feel sorry for people that are on the edge and don't make it because they wont know how far they missed it by and will be playing people who got in that they may be "better" than in a 1v1 matchup but not MMR.
