It's challenging to play on and I can kind of see now why called shakuras a 'plain' map in comparision. Generally having a lot of fun with these maps though.

At least thats what i hear from some of my more SC2 newbie friends. They like the smaller simpler maps more... what's wrong with having maps that are difficult for newbies? they're newbies, they can't play the game "correctly" to begin with, it's just one of many things that they have to learn to play SC2. it's especially ridiculous when blizz is forcing good players to play on newbie friendly maps.

I don't want to watch all macro games the same as I don't want to watch a all cheese games. That's why I love Metalopolis and LT. The builds vary on these maps.

From a players perspective or observer? Often it is frustrating to have to pick a map not knowing whether you'll get 2rax'd or the opponent will FE; especially when you have to scout to know your own build. The ideal to me would be to have 2 maps, one with longer positions (XelNaga) and one with shorter positions (Pawn Re) that are both balanced.
