Also to clarify, the invite format is only for the first season, and subsequent seasons will have a different qualification scheme?

Q: Will you be releasing the the time when the games are actually played beforehand so betting sites can close betting at that point?

Why is it when a replay gets leaked, both players in the replay get penalized? Why not just penalize the player whose copy was leaked?

Flexible scheduling is really important for an international competition. You are already not broadcasting live and you can arrange for the commentators to be seeing the replay for the first time when they commentate it. Whatever your reason is, keep in mind that it has to be so important that you're willing to lose the participation of some of the best players in the world for it. :o No I think it's safe to assume that the loser will leave the game first... so the winner's replay is a split second longer if the winner immediately goes to score screen when given the option or it's a lot longer if the winner returns to game and then leaves later. The loser's replay ends simultaneously with the loser leaving. I'm pretty sure latency guarantees that extra split second on the winner's replay and when Europeans/Asians win games, theirs should be even more obvious. But even when I win games on NA server, it's obvious enough.

However, wouldn't it be unfair to some people to make them pay for VODs, because the live show ,which is free to watch, is basically like a VOD only shown at a specific time.People who have to work at that time will have to pay to watch the VODs, so they have basically the same service only that they are forced to pay. Yes, they can watch VODs multiple times, but who does that, and yes it is in HQ, but being forced to buy premium, because your work schedule doesn't allow you to watch it live is a real inconvenience to me. Now I see you try to fix this problem by having a re-stream for europeans, but that still may suck for some. Whats your position on this topic? Oh and to Tyler's question: I could imagine that if you cast it off of replays that some people would complain about the casters faking enthusiasm or that the feeling of the casters that this is happening right when they cast it is missing. This wouldnt really make sense to me though. Maybe they want to have a regular schedule and are afraid that if the players chose their date to play that there could be misunderstandings and they end up not having replays so they'd rather schedule it right away. Either way I think that the TSL always have been good examples of how replay casting can work, so I don't really care as I am not a player myself.

edit: unless someone is bi-winning, then they're winning here and they're winning there, and they'll probably pull ahead.

This sounds like an inside joke, anyone care to explain?
