*No 5 player/team rule *"UPDATE: We are currently having some discussions with Korean teams and representatives. We will be doing our best to get Koreans into the NASL. We appreciate all feedback and concern!" Listening to the feedback of the community, while dealing with whining/unappreciative community that expects nothing less than ideal circumstances. Nice work NASL!

It's not so bad, you can't look at it like a separate tournament but a separate round. GSL and most other tourneys besides MLG go single knockout after a certain point.

I agree. Not that bo3 is not good, but if you are going to fly everyone over to LA for several days, might as well let them play more matches. Something like double elimination or a group stage where people get to pick each other. Depends on how many days you have and how much casting can reasonably be done though, since unlike other weekend tournaments you are casting every game.

A followup to this question - will I be able to watch the free stream if I have paid for the HQ stream? This was a problem I had with MLG one time, where the HQ stream just wasn't working for me and I could find no way to just watch the LQ stream instead. I'd hate to have to choose between supporting the tournament and watching it.

Yes you can watch the free quality stream if you're having problems with the HD / can't view it but have purchased the pass. There will be many other perks that will make the pass desirable outside of the HQ stream.

* Seeds 1 and 3, and 2 and 4 hit each other in second round when they should hit each other in third round. * Each first round pair should sum to 17 and that's not the case (one sums to 16 and the other to 18) Hopefully this is just an error in the image and not in the actual tournament format. I will try to find an image of a single elimination bracket with seeds correctly positioned. Edit: here we go, this bracket is good: http://www.wvmat.com/brackets/bracket8.jpg
