I think it might be more fair, since someone winning the last of three games is not really worse than someone winning one of the first two, but without this he won't have the chance to prove it. Just a thought.

Good call, also sorry if this is already been answered tried looking through it but didnt find anything, 1) When will the casts start? and will any of the 1000man open tournament games be like a part of the NASL casts? (like the finals or something I guess?)

Season starts in April , casts will begin 8pm EST , and yes, the Open Tournament will be broadcasted as well (totally live for the Open & Seasonal Qualifier)

Or does being part of a team provide other avenues to the tourney?

Then im wondering if you guys have thought of this scenario: In the coming months, after you picked your 50 people, there comes a new SC2 star that everyone is super interested in and wants to see in the NASL. His only chance to get into the NASL is to qualify through two open tournament, probably quite large. If he is very good obviously he could do it, but there is a luck factor and if we look at the GSL qualifiers alot of the best people did not make it to the top 64. Have you thought of having some special invites to hand out to people you really want in the NASL season 2+?

Will there be any possibility to get seeded into this League for showing great results in other major tournaments? its not 7 best of ones. its 7 bo3 series. Plus its top 8. That eliminates a lot of the randomness. Honestly after reading and understanding everything, I like the system a lot. It is very fair as is, and does not extra seeding in the open tournament.

The only advantage he has is actually getting to play for sure. And since any tournament can make it's own rules about who gets to play, I don't think it's a problem.
