I honestly think the extremely boring player-base of sc2 isn't going to attract many people. Why do you think Steven Bonnell II gets so many viewers when he's basically the exact opposite of every other streamer?

We have recently upper our capabilities (much more powerful machines) that will allow us to encode and upload directly while filming, so this should clear up the sync problems (the showmatch was obviously pre-recorded, and the differing frame rates on our computers is likely what caused the sync issues). I can't give a fully technical response, obviously since this is not my field, but I can assure you that we've got what we need to fix our production value. Followup Question: Are you aware of the fact that with production value most of the people that complain about the showmatch by far don't only mean the desync issues but the general stream professionality impression? Regarding your answer i have to ask, will the generel stream / studio / casting / graphics setup be the same and with the same quality then the showmatch only without the obvious technical difficulties like the desync or JTV lag issues?

I understand giving players penalties for issues impacting the viewers or organisers like being late, however as long as it's not taken to excessive levels (swearing/drawing out games to a ridiculous extent) players BMing seems excellent at giving viewers a feel for players personalities, as well as a way for you to frame storylines like you've said you intend to. One big problem many people have vocalized about the GSL is that most of the koreans come off as boring due to the lack of conflict, and there's little doubt players like Idra and Naniwa have gained a lot of recognition for their acts of BM. In a scale from "KeSPA-level strict" to "as long as they don't threaten eachother it's fine", where do you see the NASL? There's no penalty for BM'ing O_O~

"Can you talk more about the qualification process? Yeah absolutely. Russ, from GosuCoaching, is the mastermind behind this whole thing and has this whole thing mapped out to a T. There is no teams, but every team is going to be maxed out at five players. There's not going to be like nine Evil Geniuses guys or eight Liquid guys. It will be five of the best from every team at most. Most likely it will be three or four of the players from each team. And then every player is supposed to be backed by a $250 refundable fee. Essentially what it is, is every time they're rude or they're late or any kind of unforeseeable problems occur they'll be penalized $25 or $50 and that comes out of the refundable fee of course. But most people, hopefully all, will be completely and immaculately fine and will get that $250 back. But the idea is to make them accountable. Just wondering, because I know there are a ton of other players in my position with no team right now that consistently are beating players that are on these teams, and they, like myself, might be excluded simply because of not being on a team? Or is it still possible to be able to enter into this league? How do you answer criticism that only allowing top players currently on teams sort of is a "keep the rich richer" 'exclusive' type of thing?

If you're good enough and promote yourself, a team will notice you and pick you up or you'll have to reach out to them and see if they're interested. That's kinda how the whole esports team thing has worked since... ever. As a league who's banking on viewers seeing interesting games, having only the cream of the crop play will obviously produce more entertaining Starcraft
