lets hope it stays in PTR and will never come to the game itself. would make toss air very very hard to deal with

Signed. It will make Phoenix/VR harass way too viable in every match up against Zerg and Zergs wouldn't have anything to stop it.

You mean just like muta's are to protoss currently?

You mean you sit on your ass until you let them get muta's?

You can pressure a zerg because they don't have wall offs and force them to make units that slow down mutalisk production. Thats not the case with protoss who have the ability to wall off. Don't bring in the roach arguement as they get hardcountered by phoenixes.

EDIT: I meant countered by voidrays >.< sorry for the confusion this has caused.

Zerg has the ability to wall off.

Evo chambers, Roach warrens, you can put spine crawlers behind them too.

I get really sick of hearing zergs cry about "not being able to wall in"

You can, you just get it a little slower, and need to be clever about it.

The Zerg will still get his mutas out about in time unless you go all-in. Mutas just are a bitch to deal with as Protoss, you will get behind and there's no way to get out of that situation, infact youll get even more behind as the time progresses. Blinkstalkers are a band aid fix, mutas still can fly around in your base how they want and by the time you have storm he is so far ahead economically it doesn't even matter.

However mutas are not popular right now because it's very hard to defend against 6gate pushes, but if you hold them you essentially won.

What's the point of zerg walling off? So all our super ranged units can hit your army safely behind it? Rofl. Or maybe so we can funnel our lings into our own choke so you can kill them more easily. Awesome, man. The fact of the matter is, zergs don't have a mid-game army that can attack into a fortified position without getting slaughtered. Mutalisks (and to a lesser extent, drops) were the only way we could really do any damage to P. Taking away the option of mutalisks in ZvP is going to make it really hard for Zerg to fight on even footing with the protoss army without getting harassed to death by phoenixes.

When zergs say "we can't wall in" it's not really a complaint, it's just a fact that we don't really have a good way to wall in, and it's also quite useless for us to do so since everything every other race has is ranged. You actually see walls in ZvZ fairly commonly, where zergs will sim city with roach warrens, spawning pools, crawlers, and such. Please stop posting such nonsense about zerg walls.

Yup, thats the kind of players we have commenting on these changes... Makes you take all these whinning much better.

I don't know about 1vs1, but team games mutas definitely are too strong for protoss to handle, just like voids were before all the nerfing in all matchups. You'd see protoss go mass voids in team games all the time, to the point it's tiring. Same with zergs. They can just fly around unscathed, and on team games, you don't have pro players that know how to scout and that they're coming, and if they do, they can't adapt. And to be honest, even knowing how to defend them, once they're out it's boring. Playing cat and mouse is not what i want out of starcraft 2.

Blizzard please keep the hotkey hold for queuing units disabled. Do not let the tears of nubs sway you. Dont listen to their complaints about how zerg is broken and macro is impossible due to their inability to press a key fast enough. thanks!

Trust me... DON'T read through it. It's pretty much all the same:

Nice generalisations. You have first hand experience with every person aged 14 to 21 that lives in South Korea then?

Well, we did adapt.

Personally though, I'm not gonna QQ before I lose 20 ladder games in a row to Phoenix/VR play.

Again I want to make sure that people understand the typo I have made. I meant voidrays counter roaches, not phoenixes. I get that phoenixes arent good against roaches and I understand the fingers that point 'noob' at me.

The fact of the matter is, you can't just go mass mutalisks and be safe. There are too many pushes that cripple you too much if you just go mutalisks with spinecrawler defence. The only thing mutalisks are good for is for mapcontroll and when the ball gets too large, for absolute carnage. Though the same is the truth for voidray balls, which are unstoppable for zergs unless you already have a massive ball of mutalisks and hydralisks.
